– “consistent application of valid support concepts and principles”

SOPs provide quick reactions, quick requisitions and thus: quick COMBAT SUPPORTCOMBAT SUPPORT

As you plan to conduct CSS:– You must plan your class orders in advance to

prevent shortages in combat type situations.– You must coordinate for LOGPAC locations,

conditions, and times.– Pay strict attention to details.

ie.: If you are planning a LOGPAC for infantry soldiers, do not provide tanker LOGPAC; plan accordingly.

Conducting routine CSS:– PSG coordinates with 1SG for LOGPAC linkup– Platoon, or other elements, provide security based

on the CDR’s guidance– LOGPAC is disseminated tactically as

environment dictates– PSG coordinates with 1SG for further

requirements– PL keeps CDR informed on LOGPAC status
