Leonardo da Vinci’s Codex Leicester and the Creative Mind

This journal focuses on water studies. Students can see how Leonardo da Vinci found answers to questions that still interest us today.

Great exhibition for artist’s choices, American Impressionism, 19th century American history, and comparing oil painting and watercolor techniques.

Self-guided tours only
Recommended for K - 4th grade students.
Great complement to Childe Hassam and the Isles of Shoals.
Park Tours
• Available for up to 60 students/hour
• Includes art and environmental education related to the ecosystems in the Park
• Requires 90 minutes, not 50 minutes like in-gallery tours
Tips for Tour Planning
• Request your tours in advance – 4 weeks or more Many teachers schedule tours during the summer for th the following year.
• Ask for assistive devices and amenities in advance Wheelchairs, assistive listening systems, and other resources are available, but limited in number.
• Between October and March, plan on having lunch at Crabtree Valley Mall or other area restaurants.

Carolina? You’ll need at least two days or three times to accommodate this group.
