1. Log in through the NETFOCUS Gateway.
2. Select NRSM (NROTC Scholarship Management) from the menu.
3. Select Click here to continue NROTC logon.

Flag Meanings
Color of flag indicates the applicants qualification based on ACT/SAT Scores
Red Flag Non-Qualified Yellow Flag Qualified but not verified or counted toward recruiting goal Green Flag Qualified and counted toward recruiting goal

The government requires tracking Race and Ethnicity.

Applicant Fields
Selecting the text under each recruiters name displays a list.

This is a view only checklist.
Search by Name narrows the page down to one applicant. Use last name only. This search field is not
case sensitive.

Section displays production goals and achievements (this is a previous year’s production).

This information may be updated by you simply typing the changes in and selecting Update.
This information should be specifically recruiter related information.

This Search function is case sensitive and searches the entire database.
Make sure you capitalize the first letter of the last name.

Incomplete Online Applications
Applications that have been started but have NOT been submitted appear here.
This allows time for the applicant to gather information and work on the essay questions before
submitting.
Selecting the personal data takes you to the applicant’s checklist.
Reassign Allows Recruiter to reassign applicants Point of Contact Qualifying Flag Quick reference displaying if applicants has qualifying ACT/SAT scores Personal Information Applicants Name, Address, Phone Number and Email is displayed Race/Ethnic Codes Required codes covered previously Last Update Displays the last date an update to the application was entered List by Last Name Sorts names alphabetically vice by last login date and time

Change a Specific Application
Select Change Applicant Info to perform basic updates to personal information.

View Submissions
When an applicant submits a form it can be accessed by clicking on the corresponding text.
If the application hasn’t been completed a blank form will appear when selected.
Note: Math Teacher Eval, Other Teacher/Coach Eval, and Officer Interview are selectable but not
shown here.

This section shows at a glance what forms have been received from the applicant.

Search by Name searches within the context of this page only.

Inactive Applications
Applicants that officially withdraw from the process are given the Inactive Application Status.

Dormant Applications
When an application hasn’t been updated in over a month the application status goes to dormant.
Once an entry is made the application goes back to an incomplete or completed status.

Returned Applications
Returns are where applications that were submitted to the review board with errors will appear.
Once the application has been commented on by the chain of command, it is sent back to the
recruiter.

1. Select a Recruiter from the menu.
2. Select the Reassign button for the desired applicant.

To view a completed application, select it from the list.

Selecting Diversity from the header displays a menu.
Select the desired source for the diversity report.

This page is for multiple applications that appear to be filled out by the same applicant.

Select the desired email application.

In the “To:” section, select the person you wish to email.
If you wish to email a group of people hold down the Shift button on your keyboard and right click on
the last name in the group.
If you wish to email several people hold the Ctrl button down on your keyboard and right click each
name desired.

Scores
The Scores page allows recruiters to search the database for applicant scores by using the last four
numbers of their Social Security Number or Last Name. Remember to capitalize the first letter of
the last name.

No Match Scores
The No Match page is for ACT/SAT scores that are submitted for students who either haven’t
started an application or their information doesn’t match an application on file.

Zip Code Listing
The Zip Code file lists the codes that are assigned to your district.
In the case of errors follow the instructions at the top of the file to make corrections.

Academy Leads
Academy Leads come from people filling out a form at the Naval Academy looking for more information.
These leads are sent to the districts based on the applicants address.

Selecting an applicant’s name from the list takes you to their checklist.
Selecting “Next” displays 10 more applicants.

Some checklist forms are viewable by selecting the text.
Selecting the box in front of the text adds a date and an “X” appears on the home page.
Note the highest score per category is what is used for the applicant’s SAT/ACT score.

To assign an applicant to a district select “Unassigned Applicant
Select Reassign.

From the home page select Essays.
Type in the applicant’s SSN last 4 numbers and Last Name.
