Ombudsman Program

• Ombudsmans Role

– A volunteer, appointed by the commanding officer

– Serves as an information link between command

leadership and its families

– Disseminates information both up and down the chain

of command

– Provide resources referrals when needed

– They are instrumental in resolving family issues before

they require extensive command attention.
