These lightweight, aluminum composite shelters are certified to be transported by air, land, or sea. Gichner is the largest producer of Mobile Facilities, delivering over 7,000 units to the U.S. Navy, and is the only manufacturer to have successfully qualified all seven standard configurations. Beyond the standard offerings, Gichner engineers, manufactures, and integrates custom Mobile Facilities to meet specific mission requirements. Mobile Facility Type A (MFA) • Complexed with other MFs using 48” x 76” personnel doors on both ends

• Wired for 100Amp, 60 Hz power and is capable of transferring 60Hz

or 400Hz power to another shelter

• Includes a power distribution panel, a power monitor panel,

and ceiling mounted lighting

• Contains provisions for the installation of a side-mounted

Environmental Control Unit (ECU)

Mobile Facility Type B (MFB) Similar to MFA with the following exceptions:

• Includes alternate lighting and ceiling mounted air duct

Side Opening Mobile Facility Type B (SOMFB) Similar to SOMFA with the following exceptions:

• Features a non-standard 30” x 65” personnel door

on the ECU side and no end doors

Side Opening Mobile Facility Type B Modified (SOMFB Modified) Similar to SOMFB with the following exceptions:

• Features 80” wide double doors on one end to allow for the loading

and unloading of large equipmentIntegration Unit Mobile Facility (INU) • Complexed with other MFs using standard personnel doors on both

ends and three removable side panels

• Contains power distribution capabilities that allow the transfer of

200 Amp, 60 Hz and 100 Amp, 400 Hz power to up to 6 MFs Side Opening Mobile Facility Type C (SOMFC) • Features two removable sides and a standard personnel door on one end

• Basic unit contains no power distribution, lighting, or ECU provisions

Side Opening Mobile Facility Type A (SOMFA)Similar to MFA with the following exceptions:

• Contains provisions for the installation of two ECUs on one side

• Features a removable side wall to allow complexing with other SOMFs

• Basic unit contains no power distribution or lighting
