Something has to be “happening” for meto get psyched about landscapes. Themoon....the moon was just lighting up thegolden rock of Cochise. When I was donewith those images I turned around andsaw the moon just glowing through a starkdesert tree. I simply said, wow, and startedsetting up for the next shot. Don’t forgetto turn around.

I’m a constant traveler and I’m always lookingfor exotic destinations. I decided to go toMaldives since I have a few friends there and isa very far and not very populated country, greafor taking beach side pictures. This is one of tgorgeous islands at Lhaviyani Atoll, one of the

26 beautiful Atolls in the Maldives.

We passed by this island and it had a specialcomposition for a picture–different tones ofblue in the water, beautiful corals, great sky anwhite sands. I decided to take a shot and tookmy time to have the right one because we werin a running boat and it was moving a lot. It waan instant beauty when I saw it in my screen.

Getting “younger” every year due to mypassion for action and adventure andmovement. Have my hands in all kinds of coolprojects like being an owner at Sinister Bikes, running PerpetualMocean and launching anew action/adventure sports show called,Mocean365. Work in the trades as well to helpfuel my addictions and always have my eyes onnew adventures and projects.

This shot captures for me what wintersurng means in New England if you doyour homework. We do get solid waves,

just have to poke around be ready whenit comes…and not mind 34 degree water. This spot is pretty localized so no locationsgiven. Get out there and explore foryourself!

location: The wave here truly barrels and the surng levis high. Breaks close to shore in very shallow water too!

setup: Thaw my hands out from surng, try to slow myshivering, mount my 70-300 and wait for the right elemeI seek out in a shot. This had it all for me.
