After the emergency occurs is a bad time to tell the citizens that you serve that you were not prepared. While you can’t be prepared for every emergency situation that happens in your jurisdiction, we should all be sure that we have met basic standard practices and expectations.
Organizational Questions How will your organization communicate with your citizens during an emergency incident?
How will your organization make sure that all elected officials get the same information about the incident in a timely and accurate manner?
Can your organization make sure that all public and private partners get the same information?
