The NLSE is a complementary logistics in cooperation business model, used by nations to deal with logistical requirements given the financial constraints
The main elements that make the NLSE a unique support model are: • Secure Web Application (eBay ® / ® Amazon for NATO); • COMMIT
• Visibility of inventories (5M NSNs); • Redistribution of excess and surplus; • Mutual Emergency Support (NATO Wide Calls); • Direct online purchase w/industry (eCat1); • Use and preservation of national expertise;
• Fixed administrative budget; • No Operating Budget but not a financial account per organization; • Support to User groups.

NLSE : Legal Platform
based on a Weapon System Partnership Committee (WSPC) not specifically dedicated to a particular weapon system. WSPC COMMIT (1999):
• 17 nations; • 75 NLSE accounts (financially autonomous); • 7.350 users; • 41,175 connections per year.
