Objectives: Since 1988, when the Department of Speech-Language Pathology was first es-tablished at a university, a large number of speech-language pathologists (SLPs) have been trained. As of March 2018, there are 87 programs in 50 schools offering associateโ€™s degree, bachelorโ€™s degree, and/or masterโ€™s/doctoral degree. In order to support the continued growth of the SLP programs, we believe it is necessary to assess the present operation sta-tus of all SLP programs.
