Pritha Mehra was named vice president of Mail Entry and Payment Technology in January 2011. In this role, she is responsible for providing mail preparation and payment support to commercial customers. Reporting to the chief information officer and executive vice president, Mehra is leading the transformation of commercial mail and shipping channels. Before beginning this position, Mehra began her career at the Postal Service as a software developer in engineering, where she developed applications to automate point-of-service systems and processes. She has held positions across several functions including Product Development, Strategic Marketing, Customer Relations, Engineering and Research Development. Mehra is the recipient of several awards, including recognition for superior achievement and the Postmaster General Award. She holds a bachelor of science degree in computer science from the University of Maryland and a master of business administration degree from Georgetown University.
