2 Job Description:

Bulldozer Operator L-3 operates Bulldozer performs basic maintenance and prepares job estimate.

3 UNITS OF COMPETENCY:

1. Inspect worksite.

2. Perform pre-start inspection.

3. Perform post start inspection.

4. Load and unload Bulldozer to/from transporter.

5. Operate Bulldozer with blade and ripper.

6. Park Bulldozer.

7. Prepare job estimate.

8. Perform basic maintenance.

9. Perform communication.

10. Develop professionalism.

*Note: Unit 9 and 10 are not for testing purpose.

6 Task Performance Requirements (Tools, Equipment and Materials):

Bulldozer in operating condition, pen, maintenance sheet, screwdriver, pliers, hammer, spanner, wrench set, cotton waste, system location charts, oil can, seal tape, bucket, funnel, lubricants, coolants, transmission oil, final drive oil, hydraulic oil, distilled water, fuse, bulb, filters, personal protective equipment (helmet, safety goggles, earplug, mask, safety jacket, gloves, safety boot), first aid box, fire axe and fire extinguisher.

7 Safety and Hygiene (Occupational Health and Safety):

Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Aware of overhead and underground hazards.

Avoid slippery floor and steps.
