Greetings from NIBM

National Institute of Bank Management, Pune is the Pioneer institute of Banking & Finance in India. Established in

1969, by the Reserve Bank of India, it is a premier institute chaired by the governor of RBI. Located in Pune, the

picturesque landscape of the campus is spread over 60 acres of land.

Apart from an AICTE accredited PGDM program, it offers various training programs to bankers across the globe.

Its list of trainees includes the who’s who of the banking industry including the current RBI governor, Mr.

Shaktikanta Das. The institute boasts a diverse and well-experienced faculty who have been instrumental in

charting its 50 years old heritage.

ADHIKOSH is a student driven mega event organized by NIBM inviting participation from management students

all-over India. The tagline for the event, “Capitalize | Experience | Evolve”, means that any positive experience

can be identified, recorded and enhanced for greater impact. It promises to test your knowledge in various

disciplines, from stock markets to RBI balance sheets to innovation. It will be a golden opportunity to showcase

your knowledge of concepts, ideas and skills at the Mecca of Banking & Finance in India.

At NIBM, we believe in “Perfection since Inception”. Adhikosh is an

event which will act as a forum for students to interact with each

other and enrich themselves. It is an opportunity to showcase their

knowledge and talent.

I join Team Adhikosh to invite you all to experience and evolve in

Adhikosh is an annual event, organized by the students of NIBM,

Pune. The event is likely to provide our students an opportunity to

enhance and demonstrate their organizing skills. The event is also

likely to provide an experience of learning and enrichment to all

participating students from other institutes. Insights and ideas

which may come out from various contests and activities in the

event may be useful in broadening the perspective of the

participating students.

Adhikosh is a platform for students to showcase their organising

and leadership skills in the competitive world. The various events

that are being organised will help to evaluate multiple skill sets of

the participants. The Organising Team has very skilfully

conceptualised events in a manner so as to ensure their linkage to

real world business problems. We feel proud while also appreciate

their hard work and wish them success in organising this event.

To inculcate innovative ideas the students of NIBM have organized an

inter college competition "Adhikosh". The main purpose of this

transparent interaction is to ignite independent thoughts in our

existing socio-economic and financial system. It is not only the

frequent repetitions or admonitions that students should look for,

instead students’ minds should know "whatever comes to you in the

guise of truth that inquire into with all diligence out of the respect due

are the one for AIB. Each team will be allotted a bank and be given two recent agendas. The teams have to

discuss these agendas with respect to the banks given.

Discussion will be headed by individuals of home college assuming the roles of RBI Governor and Dy.

Governor, who will provide motions. Seems fun, now it is up to you. Are you game?

In this fast-changing business environment, every second counts. Don’t let the student in you die, the

more you learn, the more you earn. This event is about cracking the next milestone. Bring your innovative

ideas on the table. Be innovative to win exciting rewards.
