The federation organizes Gymnastics for All and competitions within MAG, WAG, RG, as well as Wheel Gymnastics and TeamGym. The head office is located in Oslo. The Norwegian Gymnastics Federation decided during the National Assembly in 2016 that we should further develop our top sports activities, and through this make it possible for gymnasts within Women’s Artistic Gymnastics and RG to aim for participation in the coming Olympics 2020-2024 and onwards. Based on this decision, we started the development in 2017. The current National Head Coach will retire during this year, and we are now looking for his successor as National Head Coach within Women’s Artistic Gymnastics. Tasks Your responsibilities will be to lead and develop Norwegian Women´s Artistic Gymnastics through planning and implementation of training and competitions for our best gymnasts. You will follow up on their daily training in their local clubs on a regular basis. You will work to ensure and oversee that the local coaches follow the plans so that the gymnasts reach their individual goals of development. Integrated with the follow up on coaches and gymnasts, is also the development of top sport culture within Women’s Artistic Gymnastics in Norway. You must also work with building av system for developing WAG in Norway further. You will be responsible for the nomination of gymnasts for participation in international competitions. The work will have to be according with the values within Norwegian Sports. Qualifications You must have a documented relevant and updated education within Sports and with a focus on Artistic Gymnastics. You must also be well educated within the area of how to avoid sports injuries. We require an experience and competence on an international level within WAG. You must speak and write a Scandinavian language or English fluently. You must have a positive attitude, and you have to be able to work in a team with the other coaches. We also require an ability to work systematically. You must be competent within communication with various actors within the sport, i.e. club coaches, club leaders, judges and national and international colleagues. Travelling There will be some travelling to training camps and competitions and club visits in different places in Norway with non- traditional workhours and weekend work. Salary The salary will be according to our policies. The position will be available from 1 st of October 2020.
