    3. Best thesis/dissertation submitted and conferred within the Faculty of Ayurved, Bharati Vidyapeeth Unversity, Pune (INDIA)

    st thThesis / Dissertation submitted & conferred duringprevious two academic years (1 July 2011 to 30 June 2013) as a part of postgraduate or doctorate research work to obtain the degree ofM.D./M.S./Ph.D.in Ayurved from a recognized Indian Universitythrough an institute/ college approved by Central Council of Indian Medicine (C.C.I.M.) New Delhi and Dept. of AYUSH, Govt. of Indiawill only be eligible.

    a. Rs.51,000/- for the best Ph.D. Thesis.b. Rs.31,000/- for the best M.D/M.S. Dissertation.c. Rs.21,000/- for the best Thesis/Dissertation within the Faculty of Ayurved Bharati Vidyapeeth Unversity, Pune (INDIA)

    BHARATI VIDYAPEETH UNIVERSITY, Pune (INDIA) is a conglomerate of 29 institutes having its academic and research activities at Pune,

    Mumbai, Delhi, Kolhapur, Sangli and Karad ( ). BVU has received A grade university status by MHRD, Govt.

    of India, it has been re-accredited with A grade by NAAC and is also recognized by UGC under section 12 B of UGC act 1956.

    To carve a niche in the world of Ayurvedic education and research, BVU College of Ayurved, Pune has put in hard work by doing active

    and fulfilling research. To encourage the researchers and to promote excellence amongst young and upcoming scholars in Ayurved the

    college has taken an innovative step by joining hands with IASTAM through NATIONAL AYURVEDA SCHOLAR AWARDS.

    Indian Association for the Study ofTraditional Asian Medicine (IASTAM) is an independent inter disciplinary organization committed to

    promotion of Indigenous Systems of Medicine since 1980. IASTAMAWARDS of excellence to recognize the best in various fields related

    to Indian Systems of Medicine are presented once in two years. Renowned experts have been kind to accept these awards inpast. ( )www.iastamindia.org

    1. Hard Copy of thesis/dissertation submitted to the University/Institute from where the degree is obtained.

    Language can be Hindi or English.

    2. CD/DVD of thesis in standard compatible form & fonts having original contents as it is submitted to obtain the degree.

    3. Summary of the research work carried out and its outcome in not more than 3000 words.

    4. A brief note in not more than 300 words to justify your application for award.

    5. Certificate of authenticity from the Institute where the degree is obtained.

    I) An 'INSPECTION & SCRUTINY COMMITTEE' of 11 experts representing different specialities will examine the

    submitted thesis/dissertation to recommend for selection.

    II) A 'FINAL SELECTION PANEL' of 7experts will finalize the Awardees.

    All decisions made by committee related to these awards shall be considered as final.
