Teacher: What disturbs successful international cultural communication, today?Our answer was:A lot of people consider own culture as the center of the world and scale for all others. This phenomenon is called "ethnocentrism". As a rule, ethnocentrism prevents the person to estimate adequately, adequately to accept and be tolerant to representatives of other culture

The meeting of two cultures can be compared to concepts "internal" and "external", and "others". "Internal" means heat, security, confidence, "external" - menacing, others, unknown. Some people entering the communicative act with the representative of foreign culture, at psychological level, incite obviously negatively
