The Nigeria Clean Gas Forum has been created to ensure a balance between opportunities as well as common issues that affect the whole industry such as exploration activity, licensing rounds, development plans and the move to gas, new tax regimes, regional infrastructure projects, pipelines, LNG terminals, security, local content initiatives, investment requirements etc.
The G2020 campaign will be a long-term movement, envisaged to run for ve years in this rst phase. It will be adapted over time and grow as required to meet specic challenges and demands. G2020 will mobilise and partner with Nigerians, Government and Businesses to create a network through which Nigerians can talk, encourage, and explore new solutions for success. The call to action is for every Nigerian to lift a nger, as this is all it takes to switch off a light. It also requires active involvement in generating 5000MW Green Energy as Pilots in the country. Nigerians are being encouraged to start thinking about their power consumption and reminding one another that “the power is in our nger”.
Solar empowered school is a CSI project of NAEE; Solar empowered school identies schools located in rural communities around Nigeria and Africa that are hindered by availability of lighting.
