My heart pounds out of my chest, my seared lungs barely using the shallow breaths I take in. Sweat pours
down my forehead in sheets as I dodge each blow dealt by my opponent, trying to retaliate as quickly as

stunning him, I follow up with a quick reverse punch to the chest, scoring another point. Hurry!!! – Zuzu

Zuzu loves to visit places, meet people,
learn new things. Hence, DPS gives every
year Zuzu and his friends the opportunity to
go out for Field Trips to learn new things in
the way they want. The main objective of
conducting a field trip for students is to
reinforce experiential and contextual
learning. Field trips are a way of enhancing
classroom learning by making real world
connections. The trips give students the
opportunity to observe a particular
environment that enables first-hand
experience of what they are learning. In
addition, students achieve a higher level of
critical thinking when they evaluate their
own learning compared with what they get
exposed to, and they are able to modify their
knowledge based on their personal
experiences. Field trips also offer students
and teachers the opportunity to interact
outside of the classroom, thus enhancing their bonding with each other and improving their social and life
skills.
Zuzu’s little friends from Grades 1 & 2 visited Chocolate Factory where they have explained the ingredients,
the preparation and the packing. Zuzu’s little masters from Grades 3 & 4 visited Tribal Museum where
students understood the Tribals are the heritage of our own nation and also gathered information of their

good amount of information which was assessed by the worksheet.

all over the state. Zuzu is so excited to announce 4 of his friends reached the finals and B. Akshaya
