Hello Pam:

Just wanted to say hello and give you an update on Emma. She had her yearly check up this month and weighs 18 lbs. and is in fine condition. She loves (as much as a dog can love a vet) Dr. Knox as I do. That makes it easier for a visit.

I have had a trainer to help me with Emma’s obedience. She loves my Mom and I am still having trouble with the jumping but we are still working on that. Dr. Knox said she will constantly test me and I can tell you she does! We walk better to-gether; she doesn’t pull from side to side and about yank my arm off. We occa-sionally walk with a neighbor’s dog which has been good because she is so iso-lated from other dogs until she is kenneled. When we play, we sometimes play hide and seek, which is so funny to watch. She has gotten used to my hiding places so usually finds me fast. We both still have a lot to learn!

Mom says I really spoiled her when she got sick last year, remember the ringworm episode. I don’t think I will ever forget it, especially the overdosing with Ivermec-tin. She had my undivided attention at that time, so now I weaning her by leaving a few hours ever so often. She actually stayed with my Mom this past April when I went to Paris .

I thought you would enjoy this picture of her with her favorite toy – basketball Bobo. Yes, that is the toy on the Petsmart commercial that the “weenie dog” loves so much. Just look at that face and “cocky” lip. I can’t believe she didn’t turn her head when I snapped the picture.

Anyway, I just wanted to share a little with you and especially this picture. Pam, she has been good for me and she has been a trial at times, but I do love the little stinker.

God Bless all of you at NABS.

Sincerely,

Jan and Emma

Owen is one of the best things that has happen to my life and just wanted to thank you letting me give him a home. I will keep in touch. I hope all is well at Noah’s Ark.

Who We Are We are a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue group

dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of adopt-

able pets. N.A.B.S. President Pam Sanidakos has

over 15 years of animal welfare experience, and is

an advocate for animal nurturing and care. We en-

courage owners and their families to invest love and

time into their Furry Children’s dog training and

care. We provide resources (via our website:

www.N.A.B.S.-tx.com) to further educate and assist

owners and their families, as well as Petfinder.com

for those in search of pets for adoption. N.A.B.S.

needs your support in whatever way you can help: volunteerism, fos-

ter homes, monetary donations, and pet care items donations (ask

about our wish list). Thank you for your help!

ABOUT US N.A.B.S. rescues dogs for Forever Homes. We rescue animals from shelters who are perfect candidates

to good homes, who would otherwise suffer from unjust euthanizing. WE ARE A NO KILL SHELTER. Each

dog rescued is taken care of medically by veterinarians with physical exams, current shots and addi-

tional treatment (rabies, heartworms, etc.), and spaying or neutering. Each dog is fostered and cared

for by our gracious volunteers to become lovable furry companions for families. “Dog is man’s best

friend.” and we add to that: “a Forever Friend.” Our Furry Children are unconditional in their love and

will dedicate their love and loyalty to those families who foster and/or adopt them.

“We live temporarily through what we take, but we live forever

through what we give.”
