Christmas Concert

Guywood Centre on 11th Dec at 2.30pm and again at 7.00pm.

The Christian praise and worship band Rainbow will be presenting their Christmas concert of songs, readings and drama again this December. Itʼs a fun, relaxed event with a message of preparing hearts and minds for the amazing event of ʻGod with usʼ - ideal to bring non-Christian friends along to. Last year the event was described by a member of our congregation as the best Christmas carol type concert she had ever attended.

Tickets are free and available from Ken Earith or Judith Dixon or phone 430 4692. We recommend you get your ticket soon – last year we were packed out!

Men’s Christmas Curry

13th Dec at Indigo 7.00pm Everyone welcome... well… if youʼre a man. Please contact Chris Cooke if youʼll be coming so a table can be booked. Chris: 0161 430 8691 or [email protected]

Christian Relief Uganda alternative Christmas Presents Why not buy a 'present' for Maria's Care, Kamuli, Uganda, and help the supported children there? Choose your gift from the list and an attractive GIFT CERTIFICATE will be sent to the person you designate. Just fill in a form (available at the back of church) send it off and your certificate will be delivered or contact David or Audrey Bomford. It's a great way of helping the charity and avoiding giving 'unappreciated' gifts!

Shiver me timbers! Unfortunately we are currently only able to operate one of our two boilers to heat the church. We are progressing with the Diocese and a local company to rectifying the situation, but it is going to take a little while for further inspections to take place. As such, please could people just be aware that the temperature in church may be lower than it would normally be, but that we are able to use all radiators - they just don't go to maximum heat so you might want to a bring coat!
