It is a great pleasure for me to introduce the 5th issue of bIg, and a good

opportunity for me to emphasise the importance of this magazine one year

on from the first edition. bIg is a useful reference, dedicated to providing

information not only about the Industrial Village but also for the whole CNh

Industrial world. It is an important tool for sharing the culture and values of

our company!

In this new issue, you can find out more about history & glory - the Inter-

national event, open to the public, that took place in april at the Village - a

wonderful exhibition of historic industrial vehicles with the participation of

more than 7,000 people. You can learn more about the Iveco Vision - which

can be considered the van of the future - a concept centred on low environ-

mental impact mobility. also included are two pages dedicated to the New

holland agriculture Customer Centre of Jesi; a series of events made in the

Village and the bIg interview with the Industrial Village marketing manager.

In addition you can read about the New holland fr forage Cruiser equipped

with the new fpt Industrial Cursor 16 diesel engine.

big numbers for a huge International success. on 17th april at the CNH Industrial Village was taking place History & Glory an event with more than 7,000 people and a magnificent exposition of historical industrial vehicles: 70 trucks, 15 agricultural tractors - diesel, hot-bulb and petrol - 10 busses, 15 vehicles of the Italian Army and 25 of the Italian Military Police, 10 special vehicles and 5 ambulances; furthermore 70 Vespa and 30 Moto Guzzi could be admired.

to add glitter to the fair there were 50 exhibitors, 25 owners of historical vehicles and 385 owners of heavy industrial vehicles - the 45 % Iveco branded.

as far as the agricultural part is concerned the undisputed protagonist was the steam propelled tractor “Advance Rumely” of 1920, perfectly running, presenting at its best and was much admired by all visitors.

even this year there were many important guests: the historical Italian automoto-Club ASI, the Italian Club of historical trucks CICS, the historical Italian transport association AITE, the 4OASI PIU’ and a delegation of the dairy company Centrale del Latte di Torino, with a running park of 170 Iveco vehicles on road!

during the event a big attraction was the circus show dedicated to entertain children and families with the exhibition of magicians, jugglers, illusionists and a fakir with his snake.the area dedicated to traditional giant size games included: Checkers, Connect 4, mikado and show-cooking, for the passionate of cooking!

on the track, coordinated by HRX, 50 people participated to the Daily Challenge meanwhile other 60 had the opportunity to test the daily HI-MATIC with the fully automatic gearbox and the Iveco Stralis!

on saturday 16th of april, 35 vehicles, coming from the clubs belonging to asI, were parading in the city center with a long stop next to the Valentino castle and many interested people and passers-by had the opportunity to have a contact with the world of historical transport and get around with historical busses and tramways.

INTERNATIONAL fAIRS AND CONfERENCESduring 2015 the Vision has participated to the Commercial Vehicle

Show at birmingham, in great britain, to the Transport Logistic at

munich, in germany, to the Logistic Conference at linz, in austria

and to the Solutrans-Eurexpo at lyon, in france. In the first half of

2016 the concept left europe to be exposed at the Bejing Motor

Show at bejing, in China.

The “technology” area at the CNH Industrial Village

the Industrial Village is a place where, combining present, past and

future, the customers may compare the modern vehicles, actually on

the market, with the historical ones, those which made the history

of CNh Industrial. then they have a glance into the future with a

cut-out view on innovation, where the commitment of Iveco on

research and development for new technical solutions is evidenced.

In this innovative contest, with project manager Ivan Calaon as a

supervisor, has been born the concept Iveco Vision, presented for

the first time at the german Iaa fair at hannover in september 2014.

the Vision - placed in the central area of the showroom, near to the

Dual Energy chassis, which was the first step of the project - combines

sustainability, safety, ergonomic and futuristic driving solutions. this

concept is characterized by a very flexible technology that provides

two kinds of traction: one only electric at zero emissions and very low noise level for urban areas and

the other hybrid for longer missions out of the city with fuel consumption and Co² emissions reduced

up to 25 %. the operating principle consists in few steps: the chemical energy of the fuel is converted in

mechanical energy for motion, while the kinetic energy which normally gets lost while braking or slowing

down is recovered and converted in electric energy to be stored in the battery. on request this energy

is at disposal for the electric traction.

Iveco Vision boasts a new adaptive hm (human/machine) interface (the vehicle is equipped with a

portable tablet communicating with the on board electronics), an innovative automatic loading system

with sliding panel and new solutions to fix the load. all this aimed to reduce the cognitive charge and the

physical effort of the driver during the operations foreseen by the mission and to pay more attention on

driving.

the concept combines functionality and design. the wide glass surfaces of the transparent front pillars

provide an ample visibility. the cameras placed on the vehicle enable a 360° view of the surroundings and

a screen placed above the windscreen allows a panoramic view.

the Customer Centre of Jesi plant - inaugurated in december 2013 - was projected to re-present the commitment of CNh Industrial for innovation and as a further evidence that New Holland Agriculture wants to stay ever closer to its customers: a true and proper reception pole, for demonstration and training destined to importers, dealers and customers. the center, managed by elena galavotti, has a surface of 800 m2, and includes: a conference room of 50 seats, a living room on the mezzanine floor, a meeting room and a sales point of merchandising goods.

attached to the Customer Centre there is the Jesi plant - with a whole surface of 64,000 m2 - which from 1986 until today has produced more than 720,000 agricultural vehicles. thanks to a high quality production process (world Class manufacturing certified), every day about 110 tractors coming out from the lines. In fact the Jesi plant is the international center for the production of tractors of the medium range and the specialties like the series T5, T4 and TD5, the specialties T4F/N/V, the tracked tractor TK and the latest range T4 Low Profile.

for a greater involvement of the customers by the help of a direct participation, they get the opportunity to have a guided visit conducted by specialized guides speaking also different foreign languages. the visit to the Customer Centre and to the plant is an opportunity to discover the production and the assembly of the medium range tractors New holland, undi-sputed leader of the segment.

COSTANzA, wHICH wAS THE mOST ImpORTANT EVENT THAT yOU wORkED ON RECENTLyAND wHICH wILL BE THE NExT ONE?the last one was History&Glory, to which we dedicated an article in this edition of bIg, the next will be in october: Village in festa,

during this event we will also have a party for the anniversary of Industrial Village. both need a continuous dedication, starting from the

moment when we define the budget - considering the fact that without an economical planning there will be no event at all - until their

realization is completed. as the marketing manager, besides to define the costs to be financed, I’m in charge with the coordination of

all the people involved with the event. first of all we have to define the purpose, the objective that has to be obtained with the event.

then we make sure that everyone concerned, suppliers and internal staff, has clear to his mind what to do and he is updated with our

developments. only in this way we will be able to “lead by the hand” all the organization into the right direction.

TwO wORDS ON THE HISTORICAL GALLERyI’m following the historical gallery since 2014. I would firstly like to say that the gallery is one of the most important collections

of historic industrial vehicles in Italy. It gives an overview of the history of CNh Industrial and therefore our intents are to develop

and to enlarge it ever more, adding new historic vehicles. In 2015 for example we enlarged the part dedicated to historic tractors,

integrating 6 of them completely restored and fully functioning, subdivided in categories based on the historic epoch. but we are not

stopping there: to get a better idea it is necessary to create the fitting ambiance and this is the project that we carry forward recently.

I can assure you that in a short time there will be some surprises!

HOw ImpORTANT IS THE COmmUNICATION fOR yOU?Communication has a very important role both on cultural and on the marketing level. with the help of the APP of the Historical

Gallery, for example, we give to the customers the possibility to receive technical and historical information of the vehicles exposed,

for a better understanding and appreciation of the actual products. In my opinion it is essential to relate to the customers constantly,

during the events, when having guided visits, but also through our WEB site - were we included a section “Contact us” that allows us

to collect the requests and the feedback of the users - and through BIG Magazine, which I follow personally. all this is giving us the

possibility to enlarge and focalize our targets, keeping a high level of professionalism and quality what we are known for.

SINCE fEBRUARy THE INDUSTRIAL VILLAGE HAS BEEN THE LOCATION Of mISSION ExpERIENCE.wHAT wAS THE pURpOSE Of THIS INITIATIVE?Mission Experience is one of the projects where I took part with enthusiasm in collaboration with the Italian market of Iveco and

hrX company. the purpose was to get our customers closer to our structure through the test of our built-up daily (during the test

drive the guests were followed by professional driving trainers) as well as a visit of the Industrial Village. there were surprising results:

111 customers, divided in 18 sessions had carried out 125 test drives and 72 tour of the Village with a global satisfaction level of 98%!

Industrial Village, a proactive and creative lady, determined to or-

ganize successfully the big events that take place at the Village and

to a finalize its institutional and social communication. she also

follows all the projects related to the structure.

EVENT “CONVENIENT”, 28TH AND 29TH ApRIL 2016the CNh Industrial Village, on 28th and 29th april, hosted the final event of the project

COnVENienT (COmplete VEhicle ENergy-saving Technologies), an initiative coordinated by Crf

and co-funded by the eu with the target to develop innovative vehicles for the heavy truck

range and with lower consumption. for the occasion, Iveco presented a stralis prototype rich

with new developments, including aerodynamic improvement and hybrid traction.

pRESENTATION Of THE INDUSTRIAL RESULTS “Q1”,16TH, 17TH, 18TH AND 19TH Of mAy 2016during the session lasting four days, from 16th to 19th of may,

at the Industrial Village - where there was the presentation

of the industrial results of the first quarter 2016 - took turns

more than 1,500 employees of CNh Industrial. on stage to

share and commenting on the successes alternated Sergio

TECH DAy BOSCH, 14TH AND 15TH Of jUNE 2016“Advanced Mobility Solutions” was the theme of the very intense tech-day of Bosch company hold at the Industrial Village

lasting two days. Contemporarily to the meeting sessions in the conference room the guests could visit the exposition of the

latest technological innovations which was possible only having a pass and a test drive on the testing track. bosch, with their

latest high technologic inventions which were showcased during the tech-day, is able to reduce the fuel consumption so for

diesel as for petrol vehicles at least for another 30% and is also moving towards a gradual transition versus electric mobility.

the company is also working on the objective of a traffic without accidents.

mEETING NHSV (NEw HOLLAND SERVICEVETERANS) ON27TH mAy 2016the retired employees of

New Holland under the association NHSV, coming from all

over europe, for their annual meeting had chosen the city

of turin. seventy of the participants of the event took the

opportunity to visit the CNh Industrial Village and the fpt

Industrial engine plant of turin.

DELEGATION Of THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITy,23RD mAy 2016on the 23th of may, a delega-

tion of 50 students, together

with some representatives

of the teaching staff of the Ohio State University, attended

to a meeting on the marketing activities of the CNh

Industrial world. during their visit, beside visiting the

historical gallery of the Industrial Village, the students

had the opportunity to visit the fpt Industrial engine plant

of turin.

VISIT Of NEw HOLLAND AUSTRALIAN CUSTOmERSON 28TH AND 30TH Of jUNE 2016

on 28th and 30th of June, two delegations made of au-

stralian customers of the New holland agriculture, were

welcomed at the CNh Industrial Village and also at the

testing Center fpt Industrial of turin. there was great

enthusiasm by all the partecipants of both visits, having

the opportunity to admire the flagship of CNh Indu-

strial, and also examine the testing, a world-class excel-

lence for the development and certification of engines.

INSOfT OSRA EVENT - SISpAC GROUp, 29TH jUNE 2016the Insoft Osra group has chosen as location the Industrial Village to develop an event which was attended by around one

hundred people! Insoft Osra is considered the piemontese reference point for accountants, work consultants and enterprises

with more than 1,000 customers, professionals and companies that use the most advanced and performance products and

solutions on the market.

EVENT ASDCNH INDUSTRIALCALCIO, 28TH

Of jUNE 2016the newborn junior football team ASD CNH Industrial

Calcio, made by the children of CNh Industrial employees,

right at the start in the provincial junior category (Ivrea

tournament), had won the championship! the award

Ceremony of the boys and the staff took place last June 28th,

at the sala Conferenze meeting room of the Industrial Village.

mEETING wITHTHE mEp GIUSEppE LA VIA,THE 27TH jUNE 2016on 27th of June CNh Industrial hosted at the Industrial Village

the member of the european parliament Giovanni La Via,

president of the Commission of the european parliament for

environment, public health and food security. during the

visit were discussed the today important dossiers regarding

the on-road and off-road sector. the honourable la Via has

been given also the opportunity to test some products of

CNh Industrial: the Iveco daily with compressed natural gas (CNg), the stralis with liquefied

natural gas (lNg), the eurocargo (“International truck of the Year 2016”) and the tractor

t6.175 of New holland agriculture.

finance. during three intense days from 20th to 22nd, thirty

The FR 650 delivers excellent and uniform cutting quality thanks to the largest cutter head in

the industry, from the chop processer roll to the spout. With the new ECO- mode (standard)

which can be selected to reduce fuel consumption if working conditions do not request full

engine speed, for example when harvesting light crop or on heavy ground. The New Holland

PowerCruise system optimizes the productivity monitoring continuously the power needed

and adapting the forward speed of the FR Forage Cruiser. The Comfort is at a high level:

inside the spacious and quiet cabin, with curved windows which offer a perfect view of 360°,

new comfortable seats and intuitive automation have been installed to optimize easily the

performances.

For over half a century New Holland has been at the forefront of the forage harvesting sector

thanks to long series of innovating solutions that have revolutionized the way of forage. The

new range of FR is made of five models with powers ranging from 476 hp (CV) right up to the

mighty 824 hp (CV). All models of the new range are equipped with engines developed by FPT

Industrial.

BIG is dedicating two pages of the present edition to the new forage harvester Forage Cruiser

650, powered by the new engine Cursor 16, named “Diesel of the year 2014” by Diesel Magazine.

The vehicle benefits from ECOBlue Hi-eSCR technology to be compliant to Tier 4 Final emission

standards; furthermore to grant the autonomy needed during long days dedicated to harvesting

the tank capacity for fuel and DEF was improved.
