Sweet Potato Fries

Active time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Makes 2 Servings

Serving Size: ½ Potato

Ingredients:

1 Sweet Potato 1/4 Cup Olive Oil

Salt to Taste Pepper to TasteDirections:

1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Slice up your sweet potato 1 inch wide slices. You can choose to peel the sweet potato.

2. Place the fries in a pile on a cookie sheet with edges. Pour the olive oil on top then stir the fries until they are all coated.

3. Add your salt and pepper to taste. The more pepper you add, the spicier the sweet potato fries will be.

4. Spread them out on the baking sheet so they aren’t touching one another. If they do touch, they won’t be as crispy.

5. Put them in the oven for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, remove them and flip each fry over. Put them back in the oven for another 10 minutes. Once finished, just let them cool.

Notes: For some different seasonings, try paprika or garlic powder. The simpler you keep the fries, the better they will come out. The baking time here will produce a fry that is crispier. If you want a softer fry, reduce the cooking time.
