What is Hydrotherapy? Water is a supportive, unloaded environment, that is well suited for acute sporting/whiplash/work-related injuries, as well as all arthritis related conditions.

Hydrotherapy is also effective in improve overall strength, endurance, balance and fitness.

Hydrotherapy at MyPhysio GESAC The new hydrotherapy pool at GESAC is a massive 200sqm, and utilises the latest water treatment technology. It has ramp or hoist access which can be used via one of the waterproof wheelchairs available on-site. The pool runs at 34-35 degrees - perfect for aquatic exercise.

Our hydrotherapy programs are initially formulated during a one- on-one consultation with one of our experienced physiotherapists. Once your condition has been assessed, a program is established for you which you carry out under the supervision of our physiotherapist in a class environment.

How do I start? Bookings are essential for both assessments and classes, and can be made with one of our friendly staff at the MyPhysio Reception. Cost Initial assessment: $80 - Class: $23 Assessment and Classes may be funded through your private health insurance. Concession rates are also available - enquire at Reception. What to bring Bathers, towel, change of clothes, and a bottle of water to drink during the class. Location Classes are held in the Hydrotherapy Pool at the GESAC Centre, 200 East Boundary Road, Bentleigh East. Class Times Tuesdays at 12.30pm Fridays at 8.00am *Correct at time of printing, please confirm with Reception whether further classes have been added
