What is MyAIESEC.net?

• MyAIESEC.net is a collaborative networking platform. It is a user centric system developed to connect members, partners and alumni.

• It allows you to join them and live your own AIESEC alumni experience online.

Registration

• Go to www.myaiesec.net. • Click on "Sign Up" in the lefthand menu. • Select "Alumni" and click "Next".

• Fill in your profile information and press submit

• Right after sign up go to www.myaiesec.net and login

• The page you see when you have logged in is called the “Home” page and is designed to show you important and relevant information in just one glance.

• These links on the left you take you directly to different parts of MyAIESEC.net.

• Some of these sections require you to fill in some info upon your first visit, personalizing your settings.

Make sure your PROFILE is as complete as possible

The system can send personalized invitations to your alumni friends not yet registered

This section gives you access to the most recent postings made by AIESEC International, e.g. News, Events, etc.

Based on your profile, MyAIESEC.net searches the database and suggests here alumni that you may know

In this section you can see the birthday of anyone in your network. You can also add contacts in the “Networking” section.

• With a complete Profile you can connect with other AIESEC members and alumni based on your personal information.

• Similarly, other users of the system are able to find you according to the many different search criteria.

• Most of this info are the required fields that you’ve already completed upon registration, but you can make changes by clicking on “Edit Basic Information” on the bottom of the page.

• Add many different ways of being contacted: be it by email, phone, or instant messaging.

• Here you can add your previous roles in AIESEC as well as the events you attended:– My Roles– Internships– Events

• Once current members become alumni, this page displays their AIESEC Experience.

• But if you received your MyAIESEC.net account when you were already alumni, you should complete this information.

• You can upload your picture, videos or audio files.

• Set your notification mode as well as change your password.

Inbox

• You can send and receive messages to more than 83.000 alumni, send collective messages to all members in a group and directly receive notifications on events and opportunities you subscribe for.

• And, if you prefer, you can also receive these emails on your personal email, by changing settings in Profile > My Account > Settings

Networking

• MyAIESEC.net has its own networking module, which gives you the opportunity to keep in contact with your AIESEC friends and acquaintances.

• After you press Search, you will see a list of people who fulfill the search conditions. When you find the person you are looking for, just click on “Add to Contacts”
