My Targets

I have set myself the following targets to achieve this academic year:

• Improve my IT skills including Power point presentations,

• Complete Spreadsheets on Excel and

Data Input from various resources.

.Develop my Time ManagementStrategies to incorporate my studywith Home and work commitments.

.Improve my Decision Making and Assertiveness skills.

•Complete an Appendix B form to support a SEN child in my setting get a Statement for starting school in 2010.

• http://www.sparklebox.co.uk/ A really useful website with lots of ideas for planning activities for the children in my setting.

• http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/ This website has lots of characters that the children relate to and it also gives us resources to work with.

• http://www.teachernet.gov.uk/ I am able to obtain extra copies of all the relevant EYFS and SEN guidelines and keep up to date with information concerning childcare.

Conclusion

• I have had some lessons on Power Point from my Daughter.

• It has been a good experience putting this presentation together and I have learnt a lot of new techniques and I have had fun finding out how the different effects can be added to personalise everything.

• I have included the useful links as a short cut, as they contain ideas for planning and implementing activities, relevant to the age and stage of the children at my setting.

• My Spreadsheet page is used every week to update the timesheet and it is then emailed to our admin person. Adding the screen shot was another skill that I have learnt and I will continue to develop.
