What worked for me?
My students apply their IT skills to create teaching materials by
using Wikis in LMS Moodle. These activities help students realize
how, even at their age, they can contribute to their own education.
It is always amazing to see their creativity come to life. I love
hearing responses like, ‘I really enjoyed this class. I didn’t think that it was possible for the class
time to run so fast.’ A few students even said that they would like to create their own
courses. It is really rewarding to get that kind of feedback!

What didn’t work for me?
Very few students are still Student 0.0 and 1.0
No access to the Internet from their homes
Dependent on Facebook Not motivated Passive Opportunist in using Wikipedia
Without parental support, control, supervision
Where are we heading to? What are we supposed to do
next?
Our main goal should be to create learning environment for Student 3.0
WEB
Teacher 3.0 and Students 3.0
can empower each other
Chris Lehman: Principal Leadership Magazine
“Those of us who work in education talk a lot about student engagement, but I don’t think that goes far enough. Engagement is certainly better than boredom, but schools should set the bar for themselves is much higher. What schools should strive for is student empowerment”.
And not to forget …
We need a Parent 3.0
School 3.0Wisdom. Encouragement.
Empowerment.
