WHERE ARE WE?

We are in Berga, Catalonia.

Berga is a small city.

We are in a centre that isn’t the definitely.

WHO ARE WE?

We are some students from several towns.

Some of we come from Borredà, Vilada, l’Espunyola, Montmajor and Avià. This places are small towns near Berga. They come in SI Serra de Noet because in their towns there isn’t any high school.

WHEN DID THE HIGH SCHOOL START WORKING?

The high school started working in 2006. First there was only the first level, and in each year they add another level. At the moment there are 4 levels.

This isn’t a normal high school because it isn’t a building, it is a mobile home.

This high school was made because the other high school that the city has got was too small for all the teenagers of Berga and the villages around Berga.

HOW MANY STUDENTSARE WE?

We’ve got 4 levels, there are two groups in each level.

In each group there are between 25 and 30 students. So we are 220 students in this centre.

We’ve got 12 subjects. They are:

TIMETABLE

This year we have started a new timetable.

We start at a quarter past eight and we finish at a quarter to three.

We’ve got two breaks, each break has got fifteen minutes.

The students don’t do the same break because the playground is too small, so the first and the second level do the break together and the third and the fourth do it together but in another time.

PROJECTS WE DOAT THE CENTRE

“Amb ulls de padrins dues realitats” it means “with godparents' eyes two realities.”

“Programa inmersión linguistica de otoño” it means “linguistics immersion of autumn”.

“Projecte lèxic” it is a “project about vocabulary”.
