My Progress Tracker

The My Progress Tracker dashboard is meant to be used from your desktop or laptop web browsers. For

Mobile use, we recommend the Blackboard App, available on Android and iOS for viewing due dates,

notifications and more!

1. Access My Progress Tracker via the Course Home Page, Blackboard left menu, or from the top navigation link in

your course Weeks/Modules

2. My Progress Tracker displays course graded items that are completed, past due, and upcoming.

The Course Home Module is a summary. Click an icon or “see more…” to access an expanded view.

3. Use the Progress Bar to review your progress, Completed and Late items, and Total Points earned.

4. The Next 6 Items due (if there are 6), display by default. Clicking the All Completed, All Late, or All Upcoming

buttons shows you all graded items by due date:

5. Each Item can be listed as a card view (default) or as a list view, using the buttons as shown:

6. From the “Completed” items, you can see when the item was due, how many points it was worth, the

instructor comments and have the ability to go to “My Grades” where you can see all point totals

NOTE: Some Graded items will not show as Completed if they are NOT direct Blackboard items. If you cannot

see the item as Complete, but you know you did the work, don’t worry, when the faculty member grades your

work, it will be in Completed. This tool IS NOT tied to your academic record. It helps you manage time only.

7. From All Upcoming or All Late, you can see a countdown timer for when the Item was due, the due date,

points possible, and a button to the item submission area.

Please do pay attention to the due date and time, as well as the countdown timer.

Depending on your time zone, the due time may be unexpected.

• Due Date and Time are set to Your Time Zone ONLY in the My Progress Tracker, rather than U.S.

Eastern Time Zone.

• The amount of time left/late on the Countdown timer is the same no matter the time zone

8. The Calendar allows you to click on a date to see the items due that day. You can also use the download

button to get an iCal file that you can use on your personal Yahoo, Google, Outlook, or other popular

personal calendar apps

When you click a particular day, you can see the items due that day, either upcoming or late. Again, please

do pay attention to the due date and time, as well as the countdown timer. Depending on your time zone,

the due time may be unexpected.
