Biodegradable building@Jakarta, Indonesia

A Proposal at Jakarta for UNEP office building. Surrounded by the brown field of industrial building, the concept is be a catalyst of the surrounding building to create a environmental friendly building.The approached is to get the building waste as low as possible in the life cycle.The material scheme; Rammed earth, steel frame, timber,and glass.

Improvements with towards green with technology

The proposed UNEP building is to be improved in some part of the building. Calculation and report were done with programs called Autodesk Ecotect and Radiance to improve on lightings level and thermal levels.The first room is the most typical; open plan office and the other room is the the recreation room which is suspected to gain more heat than other rooms.

Existing condition shows that the recreation room receive to many lights meanwhile the open plan office needs more light

Improvements are:1. To add 1m vertical sun shading, 2m horizontal sun shading device and timber screen @200mm max c/c for recreation room, change the material of the glazing2. To add skylight above and to put adjustable timber screen at each window.

With the these improvement lights can be controlled and it spreads more evenly

A proposal to an existing building (Bishan library) to be more enviromental friendly by reducing the amount of energy (air conditioning, and lighting) and be more self sustaining.

Coastal Walk@Labrador Park, Singapore

A competition to design a boardwalk along the Alexandra road to the coastal area. The idea of the design is hide the road side where cars passing and to bring the pedestrian closer to the nature; trees, shrubs, mangrove, even to the swamp.

Sentosa Boardwalk@Sentosa, Singapore

A short listed competition to design a pedestrian bridge to connect Vivo City and Resort World at Sentosa. Sand bar is the concept where we can walk across the island by foot. and all the creature sea can be seen without going into the water. all the form on the bridge is inspired by sea creatures or corals.

HDB at Punggol, Singapore

A short listed competition to design HDB blocks at Punggol. The concept is to make the blocks more perforated than others HDB in Singapore, more of the screen to prevent the sun penetrate to the rooms, and to have an interaction place for the tenants in the more private area (level 3).

A private housing project in Malaysia that includes 4 architects firm to come up with a unique design of varies types of bungalows and semi detached houses. Come up with the interesting form that makes the “eye candy” of . Pushing the limit to challenge structurally and to make the houses blend with each site.

Greenwalls upgrading@NTU, Singapore

The Project is to proposed a Vertical Greenwall for each Hall of Residence as their and most important is to bring the greenery to the buildings at NTU. In the project we are putting the easy maintenance aspect and light construction to the front. The vertical greenwall come in panels (600 x 3000mm) with the simple hook detail but astonishing effect for the building.

Project at NTU level N3.1 to refurbish the roof top into a beautiful habitable space. using a timber as a base and the others covered by vegetation will make this rooftop less heat and become a useful space.

Recreation area@NTU, Singapore

Project to make good of the BBQ pit between the hall of residence at NTU. The idea is to cast a bit of shadows into this area for the existing area is too warm, to make this thing happen is to put a bit of shelter above the area and to plant some trees and also a vertical greenwall.

Rooms upgrading works for YOG@NTU, Singapore

Part of project in NTU for Youth Olympic Games 2010, is to providing a good environment at the Halls of residence. This alteration and addition job was to give a “make over” to the old TV Lounge into brand new TV Lounge without rectifying structural wall. we put a vinyl flooring and a sofas with PVC to achieve a sleek looking brand new TV Lounge.
