Top: This closed-down gas station is located at 2440 NE Highway 20 in Corvallis, and is currently for sale through Jeff Miller of Coldwell Banker Commercial. Neither Jeff Miller nor the former owner of the property has been available for comment. The gas station is covered in anti-corporate graffiti on all four sides. The south side reads "Corporate Power Kills Us All."

Right: This is the north side of the building, which reads, Corporate plutocracy did this! Wall street owns us all!!!

Top left: My boyfriend, James Agle, and I take our Jack Russel Terrier, Jazz, to this tiny, unnamed park on the bank of the Willamette River, two driveways south of the Holiday Inn Express on Highway 20 / 2nd Street. Ducks frequent this part of the river, and Jazz wants them bad, nearly pulling Jim in after her as she lunges for them.

Center: These stairs used to lead down under the supports of an old bridge. The bridge is gone, now, and all that remains of it on this side of the bank are the support pylons and this beautiful set of moss-covered stairs.

Top left: Francesco's can be found at 208 SW 2nd Street in downtown Corvallis, and they serve absolutely divine handmade gelato, as well as some fantastic espresso. From left to right is Kaci Kubli, who has worked for Francesco's for two years, Noelle Feldner, who has worked there for about a month and a half, and Danielle Beatty, who was on her second day working at Francesco's.
