My 5 Favorite Podcasts (early 2017 edition)

This Old Marketing -This weekly podcast captures everything in content marketing,as well as general marketing news. Joe and Robert are the most informative and entertaining option for anyone interested in the next stage of marketing, advertising, and MarTech.

FOMO Fanz is Brian Fanzo(@iSocialFanz)’s latest podcast focused on FOMO or the Fear of Missing Out. Every Tuesday (or more often) Brian tackles a topic based on what’s interesting him. Usually it’s focused on technology, network, or social media trends. And then he has a podcast-only rant on something that is on his mind.

Seeking Wisdom is the podcast from David Cancel and DaveGerhardt of Drift. Dave Gerhardt’s previous podcast, Tech in Boston, was included the last time I did one of these lists. Each short episode focuses on one simple business or tech topic; how to run a meeting, how best to travel, goals, etc.

The BK Show –In each episode, host Bryan Kramer interviews thought leaders that speak about tactics, tools, and tricks on topics ranging from storytelling, creativity, personal branding, and vlogging.

Jay and Miles X-Plain the X-Men is a fun podcast the runs throughthe often-convoluted history of the X-Men comic books. These daysthey’re firmly entrenched in the very early ‘90s when the X-Menbooks were at their peak (in my opinion). Each episode focuses ona few issues or a specific storyline in any of the then-core X-Men books.
