EACH PUPIL WORKS AS A STUDY-AND VOCATIONAL COUNSELLOR:WE START WITH UPPER SECONDARY SCHOOL:EACH PUPIL OF A CLASS GETS A TASK TO INFORM ABOUT AN EDUCATION 5-10 MINUTES DURING A LESSON IN FRONT OF THEIR CLASS MATES. THE PUPIL CAN INFORM AT THE BEGINNING OF THE LESSON

AND ONLY ONE EDUCATION PER LESSON AND IF IT GOES ON DURING SOME MONTHS IT WILL NOT DISTURB THE LESSONS TOO MUCH. WHEN THE PUPILS ARE BACK IN SCHOOL THEY HAVE TO TELL ABOUT THE PERIOD THEY HAD AT THE TRAINEE SPOT. THEY CAN DO IT ORALLY IN THEIR OWN CLASS,THEY WILL GIVE THE DIARY TO THEIR CLASS-MENTOR,THE PUPILS CAN HAVE AN EXHIBITION ABOUT THE PRACTICE AND MAYBE THEY HAVE TO DO A WRITTEN COMPOSITION.OF COURSE THERE WILL BE AN EVULATION OF THE PRACTICE PERIOD.

PROFESSIONALS INFORM THE PUPILS.

AT PRESENT 21 PROFESSIONALS VISIT THE SCHOOL AND ALL OF THEM REPRESENT DIFFERENT PROFESSIONS. THE PROFESSIONALS ARE DIVIDED IN 7 GROUPS (3 PROFESSIONALS IN EACH GROUP) ALL 7 GROUPS HAVE 1 HOUR ON THEM TO INFORM, 20 MINUTES EACH PROFESSIONAL)

THE PUPILS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO VISIT 2 SUCH GROUPS AND CAN CONSEQUENTLY LISTEN TO 6 PROFESSIONALS. THIS ACTIVITY INCREASES THE PUPILS´ KNOWLEDGE ABOUT PROFESSIONS AND EDUCATIONS/STUDY PROGRAMMES AND BECAUSE OF THAT IT MAKES IT EASIER FOR THEM TO CHOOSE FOR THE FUTURE. THE ACTIVITY TAKES HALF A SCHOOLDAY. ( IF YOU USE A WHOLE SCHOOLDAY THE PUPILS CAN LISTEN TO 12 PROFESSIONALS)THE INFORMATION IS ABOUT THE CONTENTS OF THE PROFESSION , SALERY, HOW DOES THE FUTURE LOOKS LIKE FOR THE PROFESSION, WHAT THE PROFESSIONALS THINK ABOUT THEIR JOBS WHAT IS EASY WHAT IS DIFFICULT AND THEY INFORM WHAT ABILITIES/TALENTS ARE GOOD TO HAVE IN THE PROFESSION.THE STUDY- AND VOCATIONAL COUNSELLOR IS THE ORGANIZER.

MAKE USE OF ROTARY´S AND LION´S OCCUPATION COMMITTEES WILLINGNESS TO INFORM THE PUPILS.

THE LAST FORMER AT THE UPPER SECONDARY SCHOOL WILL BE INVITED TO MEET 1 OR 2 PROFESSIONALS IN ORDER TO DISCUSS HOW IT

WHO THE PROFESSIONAL WILL BE IS DECIDED ACCORDING TO THE PUPIL´S CHOICE.THE MEETING WILL BE HELD AT THE PROFESSIONALS PLACE OF WORK OR IN SCHOOL WHEN THE PUPILS HAVE A GAP BETWEEN LESSONS OR WHEN THE SCHOOLDAY IS OVER.THIS INFORMATION IS NOT COMPULSARY FOR THE PUPILS, IF THEY HAVE AN INTEREST THEY CHOOSE TO MEET A PROFESSIONAL.THE PUPILS CAN ASK ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT CONCERNS THE PROFESSION.THE STUDY-AND VOCATIONAL COUNSELLOR IS THE ORGANIZER.
