MY FAVOURITE TELEVISION SHOW IS BIG BROTHER

BIG BROTHER IS A SHOW THAT …

BIG BROTHER AUSTRALIA

• The first ever episode of Big Brother was aired in 2001 the show aired for eight seasons after that, it was cancelled in July 2008 because of audience erosion and controversy.

• In ‘08 Big brother was being aired on channel ten apposed to the current series (2013) which is being showed on channel 9.

NOMINATIONS

• From the start of big brother there are 16 housemates along the way there are intruders (additional housemates arrive during the series)and of course nominations. Each week each housemate nominates two different housemates for a limited amount of points. The top six nominated housemates, are now up for eviction. The public viewing of Australia vote to save any one of these six housemates. By the end of week (eviction night) the nominated housemate with the least amount of votes, to save them is evicted. As the season goes on the last man standing in the house wins.

HOSTS OF THE SHOW

• Seasons 1-7 was hosted by Gretel Killeen.

• Season 8 was hosted by Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O.

• Seasons 12- Present Sonia Kruger.

• Mike Goldman narrated all Australian seasons.

WHERE IS THE BIG BROTHER HOUSE LOCATED?

• The Big Brother house for all seasons has been located in Dreamworld, Queensland.
