1st Grade Philosophy About Me Hi! My name is Tiffany

Williams and I grew up in New York City, New York.

I am a military spouse and a

mother of three fabulous daughters.

I graduated from Grand

Canyon University in January 2016 and earned my

Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood /Elementary

Education.

This is my first year teaching at Paramount Christian

Academy. I previously held a position as Kindergarten

Reading Specialist at Evergreen Forest Elementary.

I know I am going to

absolutely love teaching first grade and I am so excited to

get this year started!

Students will be encouraged to

demonstrate these classroom goals:

1. Learn how to work well

in a team environment. 2. Learn how to be respectful, responsible and kind. 3. Learn how to problem solve. 4. Establish self confidence and perseverance.

1st Grade Goals I believe in a learning environment in

which students feel comfortable, where expectations and rules are

consistent and clear. It is important for students to feel safe and

comfortable, to ask questions, and be themselves. I believe all students can and will learn; through many different

learning styles. Therefore, as their Teacher I will teach using many

different methods, to reach all my student developmental needs. I let

students know that I want them to do their PERSONAL BEST! Celebrating success (big or small) along the way,

as a community of learners, is something very important. Not only do

students learn as individuals, but students also work and learn together,

making the most out of their day.

We are a team in Mrs. Williams’ First Grade Class! Teams work

together; and together, everyone achieves more success!
