Directions: This printable set was created so that you can enjoy creating a family book with your child that can help them learn more about their own family. �

Families are very special and every family is unique – this package was designed to be flexible.�

Due to different hairstyles, ages, and variations in family make-up, you’ll notice that many images included herein come in both male and female versions. Print only the pages that you need to represent your family. Feel free to print multiples of any pages that are representative of more than one family member.�

There are pages for every family member and pages at the end for the child to fill-in �

Activities: Grown-ups can write in the text for the fill-in-the blanks, or if the child is old enough, he or she can write in the fill-in-the-blanks.�

Use yarn, string, pom-poms or other “furry” embellishment for the hair. You can add “google” eyes for the eyes. Use puffy paint, finger-paints, colored sand, or other art supplies to add texture.�

You can “frame” the final product by gluing it on top of construction paper. You can also opt to hole-punch the pages and place them into a binder, or have them spiral bound at an office supply store.�

Have fun creating family “portraits” with your little-one(s). �
