What is My Choice, My Way? My Choice, My Way is a workshop which teaches you the skills to speak up for yourself and the things that are important to you. My Choice, My Way will empower you and enable you to make decisions about your life. At Minda, we believe everyone is equal and should be treated with fairness, dignity and respect. Everyone has the right to make their own decisions. My Choice, My Way aims to give people with disabilities a voice, the confidence to get involved with the local community, become a valued community member and teach problem solving skills. What is My Choice, My Way?

My Choice, My Way is a workshop which teaches you the skills to speak up for yourself and the things that are important to you.

My Choice, My Way will empower you and enable you to make decisions about your life.

At Minda, we believe everyone is equal and should be treated with fairness, dignity and respect. Everyone has the right to make their own decisions.

My Choice, My Way aims to give people with disabilities a voice, the confidence to get involved with the local community, become a valued community member and teach problem solving skills.

I started My Choice, My Way a few years ago and I’ve learnt lots of new things like how to speak up for myself and even learning to vote in elections.

I also get to go to conferences and we have meetings about how to help other people. I help people I work and live with. Sometimes I help train others to speak up. I like helping other people like me, it makes me feel good inside. Brenton Masters

Duration: 5 sessions (1.5 hours per week)

Fees: Fees for services apply (can be charged under your NDIS plan)

Included A pre-measurement in the cost: personalised assessment

conducted by a developmental educator to ensure we best match and support participants’ needs

A final report and recommendationswill be provided
