+R’n’B

A lot of R’n’B music is stereotypically wrote and performed by Black Americans and therefore most music videos tend to be black casting.

Conventionally repeated scenes.

Majority have a story based music video that flows with the lyrics.

Stereotypically, we expect, bling, fast cars, females and parties.

Usually are slowed down digitally as well to give a more sexual effect when screening the females.

+Similarities

Majority of music videos have a storyline to them.

Most will attempt to place a series of cut in shots, in-between

the storyline of where you can see the artist singing the song.

One subject lyrics.

A lot more meaning and depth to the lyrics if you actually

research and look into them.

+Differences

They mainly differ in respect of settings its usually either live

performance, storyline, or animation/digital.

IN CONCLUSION;

In conclusion to the research I have done I have found that most

music videos will follow a storyline to fit the lyrics wrote by the

artist and that some may contain subtle digital effects, or even

excessive ones. Audiences tend to preview music videos if they

can relate or connect with the video or even the lyrics its if they

are drawn in when they will wait to watch the performance.
