Live Music JANUARY 1 | 12:00 - 3:00 pm BARBARY GRANT — Ambient Piano Music Welcome in the New Year and relax in the atrium while listening to a variety of great music performed by Stanford Hospital’s very own Barbary Grant. Barbary will be performing relaxing music on the piano. She is sure to play some of your favorites. JANUARY 8 VISSION LATINA — Latin Music Vission Latina will really heat up the Atrium when they bring their music to Stanford Hospital. These virtuoso musicians have all played with some of the best Latin music performers on the scene and now they come together to share their musical vision – Vission Latina! JANUARY 15 BLACK CEDAR— Classical Music As a rare ensemble dedicated to music for flute, cello, and guitar, Black Cedar creates, discovers, and re-imagines works for this unique combination. Their 2016 debut album, “A Path Less Trod” has earned critical praise. JANUARY 22 JENNY KERR — Original Country, Folk & Honky-Tonk Jenny Kerr is known for her powerful, and authentic voice which has drawn comparisons to Delbert McClinton and Janis Joplin. Kerr is a skilled player of fingerstyle guitar, clawhammer banjo, harmonica, piano, and dobro. She delivers a seasoned yet spirited sound with forays into swamp rock, honky- tonk, and old-time blues. JANUARY 29 FOOLS ON THE HILL — Music of the Beatles The music of the Beatles transcends all generations and is just as powerful and relevant as it was over 50 years ago! Mike Wollenberg started playing gui- tar when he was eight years old due in large part to his hearing the Beatles. Multi-instrumentalist Steve Hanson says the music of the Beatles still inspires him and his appreciation for what they did continues to grow.
