Day 1

AfternoonYou’ve arrived in Nashville! Check into your hotel.

4:00pm Go wild at Nashville Zoo at Grassmere with this afternoon package designed to unleash the beast in every student. Explore Nashville’s #1 family attraction and, after the zoo closes, stay for a unique after-hours adventure. The zoo staff can create an outing with everything from carousel rides and field games to a romp on their enormous Jungle Gym playground. Your group can even get up close and personal with some of the Zoo’s inhabitants. *performance opportunity

ORBegin your adventure at Music City Zips at Fontanel or Treetop Adventure Park, an aerial adventure course set in the beautiful woods of Nashville Shores Lakeside Resort featuring 100 exciting and challenging obstacles including suspended bridges,10 zip lines, cargo nets, ladders, Tarzan jumps, and many other thrilling elements.

Day 2

9:00-11:00amSpend the morning stepping back in time at Andrew Jack-son’s Hermitage: Home of the People’s President, the most authentic early presidential home in America. You’ll be an honored guest in the Jackson family mansion, the formal garden, slave quarters, and the original log cabin the Jack-sons occupied in 1804. *performance opportunity

ORBegin the day with an amazing, original, and scientific adventure at the Adventure Science Center! Interactive exhibits such as the Adventure Tower, Body Quest, Identi-ty: An Exhibition of You, Space Chase, and the Sudekum Planetarium bring science to life for your students!

11:30am-2:00pmStep aboard the General Jackson Showboat, one of the largest showboats in the country! Your taste buds will flour-ish with the flavors of the South during our midday cruise followed by our country music variety show. The show’s repertoire spans classic hits by Patsy Cline, George Jones, and Tammy Wynette through today’s chart-topping hits by Jason Aldean, Taylor Swift, and Rascal Flatts.*performance opportunity

OREnjoy lunch on your own at Nashville’s Farmers’ Market, featuring exciting culinary experiences from all over the world in their Market House food hall. After lunch, explore the Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. There, you will tour Tennessee via a 200-foot granite map of the state, a walkway featuring the 95 counties, 31 fountains repre-senting the major rivers of Tennessee, and an extraordinary

wall depicting the history of the state. The park also includes the 95 Bell Carillon, the World War II Memorial, Court of Three Stars, a 2,000-seat amphitheater, and a visitor center. ORTravel to Belle Meade Plantation, where 100 years of history come to life as costumed guides tell stories of plantation life. This historic venue showcases the 1853 Greek revival man-sion and seven outbuildings including the colossal Carriage House and stables housing an antique carriage collection. Experience the stories of enslaved African Americans who helped build and maintain the world-famous thoroughbred plantation in the 19th century. *performance opportunity

4:00pmLearn why Nashville is known as “the Athens of the South” at the world’s only full-scale replica of the Parthenon. Nash-ville’s Parthenon stands in Centennial Park and features both the city’s art museum and Athena Parthenos. At almost 42 feet in height, Athena Parthenos is the tallest indoor sculpture in the Western world.

5:00pmDinner at B.B. Kings, Hard Rock Cafe, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, Old Spaghetti Factory, or Puckett’s on 5th.

7:00pmEntertain your group by taking in one of Music City’s many productions: A Tribute to the King, Chaffin’s Barn Dinner Theatre, Miss Jeanne’s Dinner Theatre, Nashville Nightlife Theatre, Nashville Symphony, Ryman Diaries, and the Tennessee Performing Arts Center – Broadway Series, Nashville Repertory Theatre, Nashville Opera, and Nashville Ballet.

OR Explore downtown Nashville on a Nashville Ghost Tour with a variety of tours to suit your educational group needs including topics such as Nashville history, local legends, and ghost stories. Student groups will enjoy a new and unique way to learn about Music City’s colorful past.

Day 3

9:00am-12pmBe a Star for a Day! The star treatment is what Nasville does best, and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum brings it all together in this very unique package offering.

Your group begins with a personally-guided tour of Historic RCA Studio B, Home of 1,000 Hits, where music legends recorded timeless songs. They’ll be inspired during their own recording session directed by a sound engineer right where Elvis himself stood to record over 200 songs. Then it’s off to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, where they can hear rare recordings of country’s legendary perform-ers, see behind-the-scenes films by today’s stars, along with costumes, instruments, and personal treasures from country music’s past and present. After touring the museum, your group will explore Hatch Show Print. The nearly 135-year-old letterpress printing business will engage students’ senses. *performance opportunity

12:00-1:30pmAfter the excitement of touring and performing, your group will enjoy a home-style barbecue buffet and line-dancing lesson at the famous Wildhorse Saloon. We delight them one more time by playing their “latest hit” over the Wildhorse sound system.

2:00-3:00pmAfter lunch, your group will head backstage at the “Mother Church of Country Music,” the Ryman Auditorium! *performance opportunity

3:00-4:00pmExperience The Johnny Cash Museum, located in the heart of downtown Nashville and featuring the most comprehensive collection of Johnny Cash artifacts and memorabilia in the world. *performance opportunity

ORVisit the Musicians Hall of Fame, the one and only museum in the world that honors the talented musicians who actually played on the greatest recordings of all time.

ORExplore Nashville’s newest music museum, The George Jones Museum, where you will get a never-before-seen look into the life and career of this musical icon. Visitors to the museum have the chance to sing along with Jones in an interactive booth, and view many of his awards, Gold and Platinum records, and career memorabilia. 4:30-6:30pmDine at the Aquarium Restaurant, Rainforest Café or Dave & Buster’s in Opry Mills or Opry Backstage Grille!

7:00-10:00pmExperience the Grand Ole Opry – Nashville’s must-see attraction and the world’s longest-running live radio show. As the home of country music, the Opry offers an incredible mix of talent to create an American experience like no other! Con-clude your day with an exciting Backstage Tour of the Opry House.
