HOUSE STYLE.There is a certain colour scheme that the magazine goes by and it is the same as front cover. For example this Q is aimed at most types of people mainly rock music is featured on it and so it uses reds, whites and blacks which gives the meaning of danger which indicates the genre of rock music appealing to its target market. The props they use on the contents images to show a musical iconography by using instruments like guitars and drums to appeal to the target audience.

The style of the hair in music magazines can show what genre the magazine is based around. For example in rock music the star would usually have long hair and not much make-up to give the impression that the magazine is rock which is meant to be tough and rock stars aren’t meant to care about there look.Facial expressions make Liam Gallagher looks quite mysterious and calm which links to his target market because the music he made and is involved in is slow and calm. They link to the genre of music in which they are a part of appealing to the market they intend to.

The column structure of the music contents pages is a 3 column structure. This is to make it easier for the audience to find what they are looking for and get the article they want.

Tattoos on the images give the indication of rock music because they look tough and that is the image rock stars get.
