Ten years ago, we started this as a private collection whichgrew to 500 rare video and audio equipment. We haveattempted (in many occasions and under various governmentsin Greece) to get support for creating the country's firstaudiovisual museum, also unique in the whole of Europe. Itseems though that the Ministry of Culture and its subsidiariesspend hundreds of millions of euros to nonsense, so thisremains a private collection until a visionary financier comesthrough and funds the museum. Not in Greece of course, butin any country which appreciates technology, history and theelectronic arts.

We will be adding information for those rare equipment as wego.

All items listed -- and seen -- are for sale. All photos arerecent, from our own studio so they depict the exact state ofall exhibits.

Classic, rare, fully restored, working, beautiful, unique

Philco Predicta TV set (50s)

It's 1958 again! Dwight Eisenhower was President, Elviswas back from the service, and theYankees played the Bravesin the World Series. This 21"Philco Predicta Model was thefirst of the Predicta line, the first to feature a picture tubethat would swivel 180 degrees! This "Holiday" model wasintroduced just before the holidays in 1958. This beautiful sethas been electrically and cosmetically restored. The picturetube checks like new and delivers a sharp, bright picture.The paper capacitors and out-of-tolerance resistors have beenreplaced with new (that are better than the originals). All tubeseither have been replaced with new or check like new. Otherpreventative measures, such as recoating the high voltagetransformer with several coats of insulating materials-havebeen done. The chassis has been steam-cleaned and there is nodust. The set is shown playing an old movie from a DVD (thereis no built in antenna). We supply a cable adaptor for watchingnew shows on either cable or local antenna.

A real collector's item! This little piece of history is one of theoriginal home video cameras. Originally sold with a matchingVCR, this camera is a stand-alone item. External controls:Zoom, Focus and light sensitivity. Internal focus adjustmentscan enable it to do good close-up work. Included is a pistol-grip, control cable and Service Manual. The camera will mounton any standard tripod. Requires 18 Volts DC power anda 60Hz signal for synchronization (may be coupled by acapacitor from the power transformer)
