Welcome to our 18th Annual Bull Sale. Your support over the years has been encouraging and appreciated. We are offering a set of uniform bulls consistent with our vision of top quality cattle. These bulls will add to your profitability.

Cattle prices are steady; cow numbers are down; feed is adequate; the grain sector is healthy and the interest rates are low. These positive factors encourage us to continue to pursue our chosen career. Predictions are very optimistic for livestock for the next number of years.

We run our cows with the customer in mind. Cows with ill temperament, bad feet and udder faults are removed from the herd. Our pastures vary from native grazing leases to old hay fields to freshly seeded pastures. The cows must maintain themselves, raise a good calf and come in bred. As we get a little older we appreciate good temperament more and more.

The bulls were pastured last summer and fall with screening pellets. Over the winter, they were fed a ration of hay, si-lage, and screening pellets. They are in the right condition to express their muscling potential and yet go out and get the job done. We breed for low and moderate birth weights yet expect optimal growth. Being in the cattle business for over thirty years, we look for temperament, sound feet and legs, natural thickness, and moderate birth weights. These qualities make raising cattle profitable and enjoyable.

These bulls have the potential to enhance your bottom line. We appreciate and acknowledge the number of repeat customers we have accumulated since our first sale. Their continued support gives us confidence in our product.

All bulls will be scrotal measured and semen tested, checked for breeding soundness, and are guaranteed breeders. We stand behind our product. If you are having problems with your bull, let us know. We want to hear about it and we’ll do our best to get another bull into your pasture.

This year’s offering of two year old Charolais bulls are thick, deep and full of muscle and are a real solid group. Being able to purchase a two year old bull allows you to see him at his full potential. These bulls are ready to go out and service a lot of cows. The genetics in these bulls are passed on to your calves and will bring you top market price. The Charolais cross calf with thickness, style and ample hair are a preferred feedlot animal. The demand for Charolais cross feeders exceed the current supply. We invite you to help yourself to gain a premium on your calves, not only for price per pound, but for extra pounds.

The sale bulls sired by 19L (Bond) and 22M (Hank) have been our main sires for the past few years. The commercial cattlemen have shown their approval of these genetics as they sell at the top end of the sale. 773T (Talcum) bulls are good, thick, wide backed bulls and with moderate birth weights. 528T (Excellent) is our half French herdsire, adding extra depth of body, volume and larger frame.
