Chapter 1.System requirement

Section 1.Computer system requirement：Operation system： Windows 2000 or Windows XP

Memory： Above DDR 512MB。Hard disk： Above 40GB。Resolution： Above 1024 x 768

Chapter 2. Login

Click” MultiWindow” to run the program.the below window will appear.

Enter the User name and password to the next step .

System default user as follow：

administer —— user：admin

password： admin

Remark: if login as normal user, some function will be unavailable

Chapter 3.The brief of interface:

After logining sucessfullly, then appears the below interface:

1.1General control:

Play： Play the image of the chosed window,meanwhile the buttons turn to be (stop)

Rec： Record the image of the chosed window,meanwhile the button turns to be(stop)

And only when the window is under playing,Then this button is available.

Snapshot：snapshot the image of the playing window，also only when the window is

under playing,Then this button is available.

1.2.PTZ Control:↑ Tilt up↓ Tilt down

← Pan left→ Pan right

＋ Optical zoom in (This function depends on the camera whether has zoom lens)

－ Optical zoom out (This function depends on the camera whether has zoom

lens）⊙ Focus near(This function depends on the camera whether has zoom lens）

◎ Focus far（This function depends on the camera whether has zoom lens）※ Keep pressing mouse to continue corresponding operation, release it to end corresponding operation.

1.3.Preset:there are 128 presets you can set(If have this function depending on the camera)

Set： setup the current PTZ position as the preset. after you selecting the preset,then

click”set” to save

Clear:：clear the current preset

E.g:Confirm the position that you need to set as preset,then select a number from the options of “preset”,then click”set” to save,then change the position of lens ,set another preset in the same way.If you need to view the image of one preset,please select the corresponding preset number

Speed：There are three levels speed you can control pan speed:Min.Med.Max.

PSSet：set a patrol line,there are 6 patrol lines can be setted , 16 presets you can set

for 1 patrol line

PScan：Turn on or turn of patrol

E.g:If need to set the patrol function,please select the patrol line number,then click”PSSet”begin to set the patrol line,select the presets(Before setting the patrol line,you need to set the presets),then click”PSSet”again to finish the setting, for instance,have setted 5 presets,select a number of patrol line number,click”PSSet” ,select “2” from preset,after 3 seconds,select “ 1” preset,after 1 second,select “3” from preset,after 5 seconds,click”PSSet”,then click “Pscan”,the images like this,the image of preset “2” stay 3 seconds ---preset “1” stay 1 second---preset “3” stay 5 second”then repeat patrol

Left：set one positon between two of scan

Right：set the other position of scan

TScan：Scan,turn on or turn off two positions scan

E.g:Select one position of lens ,then click “left “,then change the lens to another position,then click “Right “,then click”Tscan” ,then the camera will be scan between these two positions

1.4.Video/audio control:

Resolution: adjust the resolution （default 128）Brightness: adjust the Brightness （default 128）Contrast: adjust the contrast（default 128）Saturation: adjust the saturation （default 128）Hue: adjust the Hue（default 128）Volume: adjust the volume（default 9）

※ To edit the parameter of the camera.you must enter the user name and password.

1.5.Windows control:click any of them to switch the windows channels(1.4.9.16 optional)

※ When you switch the channel windows,the current chosen window will be as the first window , (the chosen window will be highlighted in blue) not the “channel-1” as the first window, so you must confirm which channel is you current chosed window, you can see the (channel-xxx) on the bottom left, if you have map the camera to Multiwindow,you need to make sure that the window you current chosed must be the same as the camera maped channels,or maybe you will think that the image can not displayed.

For example：Your current choice(in 16 channel window) is channel-2

When you switch the windows to 4 channels window, the current channel is still the first channel,you can see the image which is after Channel-2, but the image on channel-1 can not be displayed.

1.6.Information:The parameter of the camera will be shown on the bottom-left of the window, when the

channel was choosn。Channel: the current camera displayed in which channelIP address: ip address and the port number of the current camera.Framerate: the current framerateBiterate the current bitrate

Section 2 .PlayBack Playback the recorded image and manage the recorded file.

1. Playback:

General control： Control the current file.

<< ： back

Play： play

Pause： pause

>>： advance

Extension control：Snapshot： Snapshot the current file and save as the picture

Show time stamp： show the recorded time of the current playing file if choose this

button.

Volume： Control the volume of the current playing file.

File path： Show the recorded file list you want to play

browse： Choose the recorded file you want to play

2. File search.

CM sel： Select the record file from which window

Type： the recording type（All，Auto，Manual ，motion）date： setting the date period of recording.

Time： setting the time period of recording.

Search: Search the recorded fileResearch: research the recorded file

For example：Channel：Channel-01

Type： Auto

Date： 2007-8-15---2007-8-20

Time： 11:20:23—13:12:51

The result of the search ： Channel-1 ， from 2007-8-15 11:20:23 to 2007-8-20

13:12:51， the type is recording automaticly

In the above search result，Click the right mouse, then appear the below menu, then you can

delete the recorded file：Delete the chosed data ： Delete the chosed file.

Delete all： Delete all data file and local recorded file.

Delete the previous 10 file： Delete the previous 10 recorded file

Section 3. IP SearchSearch the ip address fleetly, when you click the “search”,will show all the ip address and

other information of the cameras which in your LAN,or connect to your computer directly.

3.1IP CAMERA SEARCH TABLE.Information-----show the current chosed ip camera informationNameMAC addressIP addressNetmaskGatewayUser namePasswordHTTP port numberSearch: Search all ip camera in the LAN.(Same as IPCamsearcher), before using this

search tool. Please close other search tool.or you will can not search any ip camera.

e.g:you have opened the IPCamsearcher and then open this searching tool.then, there will be a warning on the Multiwindows and can not search any ip camera, you must close the IPCamsearcher and also close this tool, and restart the tool to use it.

Config IE： Revise the IE security automaticly, so to make sure that the ip camera can

be played normally.

3.2Double click the list of the ip camera searched,then you can preview the image of the chosed ip camera on the right play windows.

3.3 Mapping：Mapping the searched ip address of the camera to “camera table”.

Begin index： From one ID of the IP Camera Search Table

Begin mapping Channel： Begin mapping from one of the 16 channel.

End mapping channel： End mapping to one of the 16 channels.

Default user name： Enter the current camera user name

Default password： Enter the current camera password

E.g：choose “3” from the” ip camera search table” list, this “3” match the S/N of the ip

camera searched on the right, that also is 192.168.129 ： 88.and then choose

from”Begin index” to set which channel to play this ip camera,now, we choose the “2”channel and the”end mapping channel”is “6”,Enter the current ip camera user name and password in the”default user name” and “default password”(user name:admin,password:null)and then click”map”,then, this ip camera have mapped to the “ipcam table”

Then choose the channel-5 and click the “play”,you can see the image of 192.168.1.254. as the picture shown below. This is mapping for single ip camera, if for several ip camera, you can choose the number from”begin mapping channel”, as the picture shown “1“ as above. “Begin mapping channel” chosed as “the second channel” and the “end mapping channel” as “the tenth channel”,after mapping, then the first recorded image Will be shown in the second window. Same as this steps. All the next steps are the same., if not by mapping, you also can revise the parameter in the “Ipcam table” manually.the result will be the same as mapping, mapping is just automatic way to set the”ipcam table”, but not so flexible as the manual way.

Section 4.Monitor---Motion detection

Setting:

Motion Detection Enable： YES or NO。Begin,end ： 16 motion detection zones，click“begin“，edit motion detection

zone。Click”end“accept to choose motion detection zone。Delete： Delete motion detection。

Sensitivity： The sensitivity of image motion，Range 1~99, The sensitivity of image

motion，Range 1~99 The mini the date is ,the sensitivitier it

is。Recommend：30

Show motion region on live-view page：select this one ,can view the motion detection zone on

the video17

Alarm Event:None: motion detection,no action

Email-JPG: motion detection，send JPG to email by SMTP

FTP-AV： motion detection，upload AV file to FTP

FTP Config：FTP Server: FTP server

sername: FTP accountsPassword: passwordPath&FileName The path and File name of upload file

SMTP Config： Mail Server： Mail server

From E-mail address： sender’s email。To E-mail address： receiver’s email 。Authoriaztion： Whether SMTP Server need to authenticate

Username： sender’s email username

Password： sender’s email password

Section 3.Configuration3.1IPCAM Table

When you input only IP address,without user name and password,or wrong user name or password

This window just display video,you can’t make the configuration

3.2 PTZ Setting

protocol ： Select protocol and Series number for camera,the series numbers as

followings:

PELCO-D/P+（S106），This protocol allow to control our 106 series products.such as

IP106, IP108D

PELCO-D/P+ （ S109 ）， This protocol allow to control our 109 series. Such as

IP369D，IP109

PELCO-D/P+（S510），This protocol allow to control our 510 series. Such as IP00,

IP01, IP510 (The default protocol is PELCO-D,if want to use PELCO-P,need to set on the hardware manual )

PELCO-D/P+（ S500）， This protocol allow to control our 500 series. Such as

IP500,IP501 (The default protocol is PELCO-D,if want to use PELCO-P,need to set on the hardware manual )

PELCO-D/P+ （ S320 ）， This protocol allow to control our 320 series. Such as

IP320(The default protocol is PELCO-D,if want to use PELCO-P,need to set on the hardware manual )

Baud Rate Set the same Baud Rate as equipmentAddress Set the same address as equipment

※ The default protocol of S500,S510,S320 series is PELCO-D, Baud Rate is 2400，address

is 1。the default protocol of S106,S109 series is PELCO-P, Baud Rate is 9600，address is 1。※ This Multiwindow can be setted difference protocol for difference camera , these software

can control all our ccd cameras

3.3 Camera settingStatus

CBR The larger the CBR is,the larger space of storing video takes and the larger bandwidth needed

Frame Rate video frame rate，the larger is,the more fluent the video is,the larger the

storing space takes ,the larger bandwidth neededCompression The larger the rate is ,the less clearer the video is,the smaller the file is ,the

smaller the bandwidth is

P/I Ratio （P Frame，I Frame）

Audio：

Ipcam audio switch choose to enablePC audio switch choose to enable

Notice：Both these options open,you can hear audio when viewing

OSD

Whether OSD enable： You can display words on video by this function

OSD Words： Displaying OSD words ,the max is 32 bits

Color： OSD word color，choose from Pick Color。25

OSD words size： set OSD words size。Network

Network config： Obtain IP address via DHCP： Auto obtain IP address 。Use the following IP address： Set IP address manually

Subnet Mask： Set Subnet Mas

Obtain DNS Server Address via DHCP： Obtain DNS server address via DHCP

DNS Server address： Set DNS server manually

Primary DNS server： Primary domain name IP address。Secondary DNS server： Secondary domain name IP address。HTTP Port： Access IPCAM HTTP port，The default port：80

After changing Network setting※ ， the IPCAM will be reset，Please change the IPCAM

PPPoE

PPPoE config：Whether PPPOE enable： turn on or turn off PPPoE function。User name： input the accounts that ISP afford。Password： input the password that ISP afford。

Email Notification when IP address is changed： when WAN IP address is changed,it will

send email notify auto

PPPOE status：When connect successfully,you can see the information of IP address,DNS,connection state

that ISP afford。

DDNS

Set DDNS service here。If need to use DDNS serveice，please register on our free DDNS

server or other DDNS server

DDNS server： Choose the one you like to use ， three DDNS server for your

choice:DynDNS,PeanutHulland Viewipcam。Viewipcam is our company

server。DNS Account： such as :you apply :test.dyndns.org,then this is your DNS accounts。User Name： User name that you apply。password： password that you apply

Status： The status of DDNS connection

Manual Update： Notify DDNS Server your IPCAM current IP address。

Section 4. Advanced1.OptionFile path

Click“browse“to choose the file path，or input path directly

Disk managementManage disk space

Minimum disk space：set the mininum disk space。When disk space is lower than minimum disk space,there are three ways to deal with:

1、Move：Click Browse to change disk space

2、Delete first 10 files

3、Delete all files

Notice：The current recording file can’t be deleted

Channel： Choose one channel to set；Hour Record： Three Type recording

1、Motion record:Need to make motion detect setting，refer to“motion detect”。2、Auto record： Auto to record

3、Manual record： select to record manually

Hour section Record: Choose the time from 00-24 hour to record,such as between 00-20,you need motion record,then you can select from 00 To 20 ,type:Motion

Week Record：select any day of 1 week
