Straightforward – Flexible – Compact
The MULTISWITCH™ enables the straightforward and efficient distribution and individual routing of several high-resolution video signals, even without an integrated OR.
It offers the possibility to administer and distribute up to 4 DVI sources (camera systems, PC etc.) to four independent outputs (monitors, recording devices).
The MULTISWITCH™ unit can be placed directly on the videocart and can be upgraded with all FULL HD endoscopy towers from KARL STORZ.
The MULTISWITCH™ features two modes of operation:
1. Mode A (switcher) – enables the simple selection of a source and simultaneous distribution to all four outputs. This mode is used when, during live transmission, an image is switched from various sources and has to be distributed to all connected monitors.
2. Mode B (router) – distribution of any four sources to any four outputs (monitors, documentation systems). This mode is always useful if a flexible distribution of individual DVI sources to the outputs is necessary.
