GTA V News GTA V finally came to PC, coming out April 14th world-wide, via Steam, Rockstar Warehouse, and via physical copy of
course. The PC came with 7 install discs, but a good thing about them was, that you, just like with the steam version,
don’t have to use them after installation anymore.
In addition, the disc versions have 60 GB of install, but also 5 more GB to be downloaded once their install was done.
Pre-load for the game began about a week before release, and most of the people got ready to play it day one, day two.
As far as optimization goes, majority of the community has so far commented that it’s greatly optimized, that it runs
very well, and that there weren’t any lies regarding recommended specs. However, a 1 GB graphics card, which is
mentioned as a minimum requirement, may not be good enough to run the game, so use caution, and ask if you’re not
sure in the H&S section: http://gtaforums.com/forum/292-help-support/
After a week or two at play, some bugs that were present at the start have been fixed by patches, however, the latest
patch also broke the game’s modding. For more info, check the “new update” pinned topic in the PC sub-section here:
http://gtaforums.com/forum/304-pc/
As you’ve seen a few pages back, the PC folks, besides the stunning graphics, also received the same extra content that
the PS4/X1 users got, but also an amazing and updated GTA IV video editor, now called Rockstar Editor. R* editor also
features a Director Mode, where you can spawn any actor you unlock through the game’s story mode, and use him in
the free roam of map, to record some gameplay videos, machinamas, and whatnot. The fans have been enjoying the
editor a lot, and to see some of the videos, or share your own, go here: http://gtaforums.com/topic/782614-the-editor-
showcase/
A GTAF PC only crew has been made, separate from the existing GTAF general crew, and GTANet crew, so the PC only
folks can easily gather in it: http://gtaforums.com/topic/784419-the-gtaforums-pc-section-crew-open-now/
A Snapmatic only competition has also been started here: http://gtaforums.com/topic/784443-gtav-pc-professional-
snapmatic-competition/ Do note though, it’s for snaps only, as pictures taken via fraps, print-screen or bandicam don’t
count.
Here http://gtaforums.com/forum/370-gta-v/ GTA V Modding areas opened, and after about a week, the first mods
were released, Scripthook, asi loader, and LUA plugin. Besides game save sharing and SNP, which can be done via
http://gtasnp.com/browse and http://gtaforums.com/topic/786768-gta-v-save-n-play/ there have also been numerous
script mods. Most notably, Alex Blade’s simple trainer, that Tacotheboss made work to spawn you into North Yankton,
and some great shots were produced from it( for all GTA V PC shots, check SNAPMATIC CHARTS section)
There were also plate customizing, bodyguard spawn, but some modders made the trainers and scripts work online,
which eventually ended up with R* disabling them via the latest patch, causing rage among the fans, for not letting them
work via SP at least. Now we wait for the updates to the mods, so we can play with them again in SP.
http://gtaforums.com/topic/788343-vrel-script-hook-v/
Lets go a bit further in the past now. A 60 FPS trailer was released prior to the games’ release:
http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/52411/watch-the-gtav-60-frames-per-second-pc-trailer as well as
http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/52416/introducing-the-rockstar-editor one introducing R* Editor
features. In case you missed these, and still don’t own GTA V, take a good look!
Also, don’t miss out on the ability to win this beat PC with the GTA V case:
http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/52420/enter-to-win-a-deluxe-gtav-custom-digital-
storm-velox-pc
And here is now a decent artwork by Calum Sutherland
Finally, Rockstar has released some tips regarding setting up a good control scheme for your GTA V PC,
via K+M, or if you have a controller:
http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/52427/rockstar-game-tips-tailoring-your-settings-and-
controls-in
That’s it, now get out there and play some GTA V for PC, and share your screens/videos/impressions!

miss out on the last few fixtures
- New GTAF spotlight on garages & custom rides has been posted:
http://gtaforums.com/topic/790393-gtaforums-spotlight-custom-rides-garages-6/ and we at MM
have chosen our favorite image from there:
That’s about it for April, it was a damn good month in GTAF world, especially with the release of GTA V
and everything that followed.
GANG News
- Official Gangs -
$outh $ide Hoodz
$outh $ide Hoodz have returned to their original
pip that the rest of GTAF loved…just as we all got
used to the new pip and started liking it.
Desmosedidici also changed his name again, to
Swolo Yaggins now. Also, at the end of April, RBR
left for Z.
Leone Family Mafia
Leone Family Mafia had Johan join their ranks
and the OGA, as well as X S. Their C & G topic has
seen some decent activity afterwards, and in
general last few weeks.
Andolini Mafia Family
Andolini Mafia Family and their member Ari Gold
has been seen posting again on GTAF after a long
long time. Stu became GTA_stu again. Good
activity in the AMF gang section topic this month as
well.
The Precinct
The Precinct on the other hand wasn’t active in
their PGC topic recently. However, they had
Bartleby and Mister Pink join from The Connection,
and a new member also came in, krashr. WJF also
changed back to his original username again.
The Connection
The Connection had MURDOC leave them, as well
as Bartleby and Mister Pink who went to TP. Graven
finally returned to his old username, as well as
ILAK. Good activity in TC topic as well this month.
Feroci
Feroci had a solid activity in their topic this month,
with posts from uni and Daz, and also a partnership
established between them and the Z. DK22Pac, El
Dorado, and a few more modders have joined
them, as well as ZAZ from LFM, as Feroci continues
to grow and unite the modders in one place.
Zaibatsu
Zaibatsu changed their gang account name, losing
the “The”. AlienTwo returned to his original
nickname, whilst Android became Nick, and Radeon
returned to Pyroshox. Ottae was re-established as a
mod, and changed his name as well. Vangelo has
also joined the Z ranks, gaining full Z and the pip.
CasialSergiu and Argonaut also joined the Z on trial
in their test subject division.
The Yardies
The Yardies were given back their official status
this month, regaining some of the lost features.
GTA V PC release was celebrated by opening the
V:MP PC section. All members have been promoted
to full Y after the officiallity regained, and IRC and
GTA IV birthdays were also celebrated in April.
Angels of Death MC
Angels of Death MC have also started building
their PC section upon the release of the game,
posting lots of gaming videos about it. Diggdydog
and GlitzyTomb have rejoined them, as
Capnmorgan joined them.
Cyclop 9
Cyclop 9 had another good month of GTA activity,
now even more with the release of GTA V on PC.
The gang account “Cyclop 9” has finally been
moved to the C9 group as well. Good month for C9!
D1RTY12
D1RTY12 have also had a few of their members
move on slowly to PC, although just like a few more
gangs, their Sony section is divided in PS3 and PS4
sides now. Some old ex-members have made their
reappearance this month, such as Andy_May and
Big P 92.
- Unofficial Gangs -
SRS Incorporated
SRS Incorporated had a lot of fun recently
playing heists, as well as waiting for the PC release
to maybe reform the lost PC section of their group.
Private forums have also been repaired for them.
Bianco Crime Famiglia
Bianco Crime Famiglia went up a few replies this
month, generally talking about GTA heists, as well
as some SA:MP RP discussions.
The Highway Reapers MC
The Highway Reapers MC had a few random
replies to their topic, as well as ex-associate,
nic_23 making a re-appearance when GTA V for PC
came out.
The Lost MC
The Lost MC have finally lived to see the day of a
next GTA for PC release. Celebrations were due
when the game released, and with Lost MC also
featured heavily in the game, it was a good
opportunity for some screenshots and PC activity
slowly returning.
Warriors of the Night
Warriors of the Night have been inactive since
the start of this year, and their fade into the deep
abyss of defunct GTAF groups has come. Been here
since 2012, and have been a decent Xbox 360
crew, during LaD:MP and BoGT:MP era.
The Department
The Department went inactive for a couple of
months, just like WotN on the last page.
Department was also a 2012 gang, originating via
IV and EFLC games, but after GTA V, and most of
their members leaving or doing other things, they
faded away.
Academi PMC
Academi PMC continued where they left of last
month, with lots of decent gang updates, and to the
1st post, as well as good xbox one activity via heists
and TDM’s with non-GTAF groups. The PGC topic of
Academi PMC also had some really really good
activity this month.
Soul Reapers MC
Soul Reapers MC had a few replies in their topic,
and in their recruitment topic, mostly linking to the
video which showcased some of the latest
shenanigans their members, GTAF and non-GTAF
based have been up to.
The Damned
The Damned had their leader AJ unbanned, again.
They’ve been mostly playing other gangs in TDM,
one such being a friendly against the PS4 side of
The New World Order, one of the rare remaining
GTAF groups up for crew battles.
Mobilized Mercenary Division
Mobilized Mercenary Division had a few replies
bumping their topic, but there’s been no sign of
their members recently on GTAF or anywhere near
the forum.
Red Rum Racing
Red Rum Racing had some solid activity lately, as
there’s been a decent amount of new races and
tracks coming out from their members. They’ve
been invited to take part in a crew vs crew racing
challenge too, but with no reply thus far.
Queens of the Damned
Queens of the Damned got their topic bumped
recently, to inform that they have no PS3 or PC
section recently, and that all their remaining
members have moved from xbox 360 to xbox one.
8492nd Tactical Fighter Wing
8492nd Tactical Fighter Wing went up a few
replies this month, sharing their latest adventures
from their GTA meets, and while playing with other
people and gangs.
The New World Order
The New World Order had a friendly TDM against
The Damned, a set of a few actually. And in their
topic, there has been some debates over the final
scores, and regularity of the matches. Lots of good
videos and TDM montages were also posted in a
good month for TNWO overall.
BF Surfer Cruisers
BF Surfer Cruisers have had some decent meets
recently, but mostly on PS4/X1, as the last gen is
slowly getting forgotten and fading away. A FB
page for their group was also created. Few of them
have been going to check the GTA V PC on the
release as well.
Western Motorcycle Company Cruisers
Western Motorcycle Company Cruisers had lots
of good meets lately, being organized well across
all 4 platforms PS4/PS3/X1/360. An alliance has
been made with the Paleto Bay Mayors Office (new
gang, read below) to get a small place for them in
that area of LS. And overall, it’s been a good
activity for WMCC in their GTAF topic this month!
Right of Redemption
Right of Redemption had their old member
SurfaceNoise make an appearance at the forums,
as Coin left TC and joined the Z again. Some
general discussions and gaming screenshots have
been posted for them. Good month for RoR.
Hustle Bones
Hustle Bones had some activity in their topic, and
the topic title changed to “[NFSW] Hustle Bones”
now, without some extras. Dante joined them. The
fun doesn’t stop in Hustle Bones, ye?
Off-Road All Stars
Off-Road All Stars had some solid activity this
month, with lots of gaming fun on GTA Online.
There have also been some promotions in the crew,
and the topic moved up a total of 3 pages over the
last month.
Roman Bellic Enterprises
Roman Bellic Enterprises is having some good
activity in their topic, moving up a few pages,
having some general and gaming discussions.
Goon Squad
Goon Squad had a good month, keeping their
topic and gaming activity on top. In addition,
they’ve been features in GTAF spotlight multiple
times with their screenshots.
The Sharks
The Sharks have been made by Ciaran earlier this
year, and Andreas, Tacymist, Kyle and co are also
there, hanging around and chatting about GTA and
other stuff in this small group of folks.
The Brotherhood of Steel: LS
Chapter
The Brotherhood of Steel: LS Chapter is made
by slyoldogg of Feroci, mostly containing some GTA
Online based Feroci members, but also a few who
aren’t a part of any other gangs yet.
Little Havana Scramblers
Little Havana Scramblers had a good month,
moving the most pages up out of all gangs. Their
1st post can now be found at a gang account,
however lately there’s been some drama between
Android and two now ex-members, Stoney and
MarksyEvansy, besides lots of gaming related fun.
Paleto Bay Mayors Office
Paleto Bay Mayors Office is a new gang on the
GTAF block. Led by the GoodSgtScooter of Feroci,
the folks have been present in GTA Online section
and have built their small community over the last
year, and have finally decided to get a chat topic
for their newly established group properly this April.
We wish them luck, and hopefully they have a
spare room for us in one of the motels over at the
Paleto Bay.
The Cherry Popper Ice Cream Company
The Cherry Popper Ice Cream Company is a
new gang on the GTAF, having been created by
some Social Club and RoR members mostly. Cherry
Poppers’ Co is the newest GTAF gang on the block,
going 7 pages up inApril.
Yakuza
Yakuza have closed this month, another one of
GTAF incarnations of a Yakuza gang, GTA or non-
GTA themed has died.
The Pedestrians
The Pedestrians have sadly shut down this
month. One of the most refreshing new gangs of
2015, was a great idea, however, things didn’t
work out in the end, and it’s members have left,
and scattered to other gangs, mostly Little Havana
Scramblers, and now the Pedestrians have closed.

Grand Theft Auto V released for PC on April 14th, 2015, and a bit after, modding slowly
began to unravel.
Alexander Blade created the first Scripthook for V, as well as asi loader, and a bit later,
a LUA plugin was made, letting about 40-50 script mods out already.
However, the recent patches disabled the mods completely, and those using it have
faced a 2 week ban, to expire May 16th, 2015.
Modding isn’t in a decent state right now, but there is hope. Alexander Blade updated
a new version of his scripthook, which works for the new version, so we can expect updates of other scripts later this weekend too.
The only downside to it is, it quits the game if you try to go online. So if you want to play online, you have to erase the mods from the folder. It’s a bit of a hassle, but it’s
all we got for now.
Modding Garage
So far, the mods have been posted via the GTAF Modding Showroom section, as well as gta 5 mods website, with gtagarage being updated and adapted as we speak.
Below, you will find a roundup of all existing mods, first for GTA V, then for older GTA’s, as well as a link where you can share your SP status to others, know as GTA
SNP.
http://gtasnp.com/browse
Mods have so far been split into 2 categories. The ones that work with v 350.1 and 350.2, and the ones that work with v335.1 or older. To run the older versions, you
need the old update.rpf file, as well as the old gta5.exe and gtavloader.exe
They can be found here, if you already updated. Be wary that it’s very buggy with the old version, so it’s best to wait for a few days, until all the mods I’ve linked below are
updated to work with 350.1/2
