1.0 Outdoor recreation or outdoor activity is leisure pursuits engaged in the outdoors, often

in natural or semi-natural settings out of town. People involves in this activity may also

be pursued for the purposes of finding peace in nature,  enjoying life, and relaxing.

People surely just want to select a few important items only leaving behind any big or

less significant matter. For example, if you are going on a camping trip, you necessitate

whether to get a flashlight, power bank or a tumbler together with you since you desire

to conserve the bag space for other particulars. By learning the advantages toward this

situation, our team, Youth Tech wants to create MULTIFUNCTION TRAVELLER

TUMBLERS with special characteristics. The tumbler is designed with the newest

technology invention that includes flash light, heat detector and power bank.

1.1 The objective market is concentrating for a traveller and adult that enjoying going for

outside activities. This product also can be utilized for a student as this multifunction

tumbler has a broad variety of uses.

1.2 By receiving this product, customers will save a great deal of space and enjoy many

parts at one time, which is power bank, flash light and tumbler. We think this product

delivers the possibility to acquire the customer’s heart by providing the best quality,

multipurpose tumbler that could save space and money with an affordable cost.

1.3 We believe that this product will win consumer heart because it is very unique in its

design, innovation and applications. This is the first to appear in market and we believe

1.4 Our management team is comprised of people who recognize teamwork as the best

way to achieve goals, bright vision to carry our business forward, physically and

mentally tough and able to work under pressure in any condition.

2.0 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION 

This product is designed and built to exacting standards in order to enhance and

endure your life's many experiences. The product that our company produced is

multifunction tumbler. What is the normal expectation about other tumbler that sold in

market? Tumbler is supposedly functions as to keep the beverages inside it whether cold

or hot. That is the normal function of tumbler. But our company is produced the

multifunction where the tumbler can be used in other ways.

The first function of our tumbler is to keep the beverages inside it hot or cold in

longer term. The material that we produced to keep the water inside the tumbler is stainless

steel 18/8 where it used to insulate the hot and cold beverages and to protect the taste of

beverages. The stainless steel 18/8 is one of the best material that known good as to

prevent the heat loss and gains from surrounding. Besides, our tumbler is installed with

double wall vacuum insulation technology that helps to maintain the temperature of

beverages inside the tumbler.

Next, our product is also having function of torch led light where the torch light

function is installed in our product. The led lamp is installed and supply with the electrical

energy that provided. Moreover, the power bank technology also installed in our tumbler

where it is placed at the bottom of tumbler. The power bank can be used to recharge the

battery of smartphone or other device. More else, it being used as the power supplied for

the torch light that installed at the lid of the tumbler.

2.1 APPLICATION OF THE PRODUCT

The application of the tumbler is it has great insulation to keep the beverages inside

the tumbler cold and hot for a longer time. Moreover, the tumbler is installed with the led

lamp where it function of torch light at the switch is open. Besides, the power bank installed

at the bottom of tumbler where it can be the power supply of smartphone or devices. The

power bank can be rechargeable and being used as power supply of the torch led light of

tumbler.

2.2 UNIQUE FEATURES OF PRODUCT 

For common tumbler in the market is mostly used to keep the temperature of water

inside them. But now, our company has a new great idea of multifunction tumbler which

has more function in our product. Our product is installed with the torch led light. It can be

used during the dark when having the outdoor activity. The power bank technology is

installed at the bottom of tumbler where it being the power supply for torch light and used

as the function of power where it act as power supply to recharge the battery of

smartphone and device through the USB connection provided. The bottom part of tumbler

is detectable and undetectable where it can be removed to make it lighter or when the torch

light in not being used.

Our product is about the combination of technology. Mostly in market the power bankand the torch led light is being sold separately. Our product is more economic where it

having a lot of function in tumbler. The technology and material used is different from the

one that being selling in the market. The application and the function of our tumbler is

different from the function of tumbler that selling in market. Our tumbler is creating a new

technology of tumbler as it having the multitasking that makes it different from the tumbler

in market.

2.3 PRODUCT DEVELOPMENTThe development of the product will take about 4 month and will be tested before

delivering it into the market. Our product is designed by our Research and Development

Engineer team. By using the concept of merging, the power bank and the torch light is

combines with tumbler. The torch light is attached at the top of tumbler where it placed at

lid of tumbler. The wiring of torch light to power supply is manufactured

manually by our worker.

For the power bank it is placed at the bottom of our tumbler where it can detectable

and undetectable when it is not used. The size and the shape of power bank are suitable

with tumbler where it is taken from our supplier. The power bank is inserted at the bottom of

tumbler but the design is created by our designer group to make it compatible with our

tumbler. All the safety for user of our tumbler is being considerate therefore the tumbler is

safe to use. All the consideration is takes as first priority to design this product by our

designer team.

Next, they need to join the parts together and at the same time conduct few

inspections on the product if there are any defects occur during the process. Then, the

product will be sent to the market place and undergo some promotion within the first month

in order for users to familiarize about the new stylish of tumbler. All of the cost which

includes the start-up cost, development and testing cost will be explained further in the

financial section. This entire product is then will be distributed or sell to the customers

either to a big company, small company or the customer itself.

The tumbler is the main component of the prototype. This tumbler has vacuum insulation

for maximum temperature retention. It makes from durable stainless steel for interior and

exterior. Locking flip- top lid with one hand push button operation is available and

adjustable carry handle. The tumbler potrays ergonomic design and multicolor.

component in business venture and it is one of the key factors to get advantages over

competitors.

4.1 CUSTOMER

Our target customer are mainly among youngsters especially university students. Power

bank are nowadays becoming so popular among youngsters as they are all having gadgets

and really need sources of power for their entire gadget. Thus we come with the

combination of power bank, a thermos as well as a torchlight which we see as the

combination of all essential things for youngsters when they go traveling. These

multipurpose thermo can be easily get in any electrical store around the country such as

Seng Heng, Harvie Norman ,Courts and any other popular store.

4.2 MARKET SIZE

 According to the “ indexmundi.com ”website ,the latest populations of Malaysian is around

30,073,353 which being reported on July 2014 ago. Whereas the number of youngster in

the range of 15 to 25 years old is about 2,580,486 for male and 2,511,579 for female as

the total of both gender we round off the total value to 5.1 million people which is almost

17% of total Malaysia population.

4.3 COMPETITORS

In the market, they are various of thermos that being sold around the country.however ,

among all the thermos there is none of them that are having multi purpose function

compare to our product. Most of the the competitors only selling the thermos without having

the function of can be a torchlight, having a powerbank that detachable when are not

needed. We do make compare to well known brands like Thermos and ZOJIRUSHI  ,yet

there is none of their product that satisfy the needed of the customers like we do.

 Above are all the products that our company might think that quite competitive to our “

Onaise Thermo “ thermos . Referring to the differences table that being generated above ,  

we able to study the weakness of these product which are not satisfy with the needed of

customers. Some of the products are only came in one colour and others do come in

variety colours yet the colours are not interesting and catchy enough. these sample

products are madely bulky and plus not having any holder which might hard for the

customer to hold the thermos when travelling .in fact the non-ergonomic structure of the

thermos make the product not reasonable enough to be bought.One product do have some

outstanding technology with having a usb panel for the thermos to electronically stirred .

some of the products might have limited warranty of time which is in the range of 1 to 3

month.

Hence ,to make the solusion for all the weakness of the recent products ,we came with the

idea of having a themos with having a power bank, as well a medium size torchlight being

put on the top of the thermos. We taking all the weakness between those products and we

make it as our strength in making a themos that fulfill the needed of the customers

nowdays. we choose the finest material from the Thermos company that came with various

of striking colours which can persuade customers which is specificly the youngsters who

love different in their belongings. Enough size and capacity would be our

main concerns in order for the customers buying a big enough themos which can store

more water as their baverages.As for the power bank that can be easily detachable when

not needed on the bottom of the thermos, we do offer different range of mAh which are

sold in different value of money in the range of RM120.00 to RM150.00 . The additional of

torch light would be a great advantage for the customers especially for those who are love

on camping ,they might use this as the basis need when attending any of university

activites or camps.

In order to get customers attention to buy our product we do make special offer to student

in which they can reach to buy this thermos in any shop within the Shah Alam city since it is

near to out headquartes.We do offer student price as the catalyst for them to pick this as

their choice and would recommended this product to all their friends as well.

4.4 MARKET SHARE

From the total 5.1 million of market size, our company made a few assumptions:

 Assumption 1

80 % of 5.1 million youngsters are heavy user of theirs gadgets.

5.1 million youngsters x 80% = 4.1 million youngsters

 Assumption 2

Only 1% will be interested in choosing our product as their needed.

product locally.

restaurant like Kentucky Fried Chicken to promote our products as the merchandise for the

monthly promotion of the restaurant. Other common ways are like signage on bus and

taxis, fliers and brochures. Not to forget promotion through radio and television will also be

done to increase our product popularity.

8.0 CONCLUSION

In conclusion, Multifunction Traveller Tumbler is the new hit of tumbler in the

market as it consists of power bank, mentol as torchlight and LED lights panel to

show the sign of hotness. When the product is stacked up, it can be a decorative

tumbler that come out with multicolor of magenta,blue and orange. The detachable

power bank technology also installed in our tumbler where it is placed at the bottom

of tumbler. The power bank can be used to recharge the battery of smartphone or

other devices. More else, it being used as the power supplied for the torch light that

installed at the lid of the tumbler.  In our observation, sometimes the cost for a

different tumbler, power bank and torchlight are expensive and it is not convenient to

bring all that in one time. Therefore, this multifunction traveller tumbler is reasonable

to buy. We can say our product is the next in-thing to be bought by any stage of

people that love to do outdoor activities. Regardless of their status the market study

which indicated good respond from the target market. The team of Young Tech will

purchase the project and will apply for a grant of RM 100K from Multimedia

Development Corporation (MDeC). It is because the team is confident of market

acceptance to the innovation.
