• DDC is committed on maintaining a work site that is safe and clean.• Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. • Resident Engineer will monitor operations and work within DEP Noise Code regulations.• Sidewalk access from the curb may be temporarily restricted while work is conducted (coordination
will be arranged on a case by case basis)• Parking may be temporarily restricted during construction.
• Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT)
• The contractor must maintain two 12 ft lanes on West 34th Street. One 12 ft lane eastbound and one 12 ft lane westbound and an 8 ft clear sidewalk for pedestrians.
• The contractor will restore all travel lanes and pedestrian access by 6:00 AM.

Water Service Interruptions:
• 72-Hour Advance Advisory will be provided, followed by 24 hour confirmation/cancellation notice.
• Specific instruction will be provided prior to water shutoff
• If your water service is not restored by the time indicated on the Shutoff Notice, please contact the Community Construction Liaison (CCL) or 311 if after hours.
Special Needs:
• The DDC staff will work specifically with individuals that have special needs who may be uniquely impacted by the project.
Rodent Control:
• A rodent survey was performed prior to construction
• Rodent Control Stations are being installed by a professional rodent control contractor
