The Multi-element module extendsthe capabilities of Whittle to allowup to ten elements to be defined inthe model. Individual elements arereported separately and the gradesand quantities of each element areavailable for use in user-defined ex-pressions, graphs and reports.
Multi-product minesThe Multi-element module is very useful for ana-lysing multi-product mines. Multiple products canhave independent recovery functions through oneor more processing paths. Each element can havedifferent cost structures and output limits. UsingWhittle’s powerful mathematical expressionbuilder, it is easy to make the behaviour of oneproduct in the process, dependent on the grade ofanother.
Deleterious ElementsElements need not be products, they may be poi-sons or deleterious minerals. These can be mod-elled and tracked with ease using the Multi-ele-ment module.
