Mufei Gallery,established in2011, formally theC2Gallery.Thegalleryprovides

exhibitionspace forboth Internationalandyoung localartistsandhostsshows for

ThePotteryWorkshopresidencyartists,holdingregularexhibitionseveryyear.

No.3 Space is a vitrine space near the PWS Coffee Shop. It provides exhibition

space for both International and young local artists to have a small shows in

Jingdezhen.

Whocanapply

• Opentoallnationalitiesandages.Thetypesofexhibitionarenotparticularly

restrictive.

Howtoapply

• Applicant(s) should provide the exhibition planning scheme and specific

documents such as portfolio, biography, introduction and photos of work to

galleryjdz@potteryworkshop.com.cn

OperationGuide

• Thegalleriesareresponsibleforpresentingandconsultingrelevantquestionsof

theexhibition, aswell as topresent relevant staff tohelpandassistwith the

exhibition.Bothpartieswillcommunicateandnegotiateallrelevantitemsina

timelymannerastoensurethattheexhibitionrunssmoothly.

Equipmentandtools

• The galleries will ensure all facilities are working properly in and for the

exhibition. And only provides the venue and basic equipment (Lighting,

pedestals, cablewires),butdoesnotprovidehuman resources fordecorating

the venue, moving equipment, operating electronic devices, etc. Applicant

partiesshouldpreparetheirownequipmentandsupplies.

• Artist(s)canuseequipmentortoolsuponbeinggivenpermissionfromrelevant

staff.Theartistwillhavetohandleequipmentprovidedandreturninatimely

manner.

• Artist(s)shouldusetheexhibitionspaceandfacilitiesproperlyandrespectfully.

Theartist(s)willreasonablycompensatealldamagestothefacilitiesduetothe

exhibitionorpreparation.

• Ifartist(s)wanttocreateholesinthewall,floororceilingforanyreason,they

must notify and gain the acceptance from The PotteryWorkshop in order to

preventthedestructionoffacilitiesandelectricallines.

CleaningandSetup

• Artist(s)shouldrenovatethepedestals,cleanandmendofwalls.

• The exhibition should be fully set up 12 hours prior to opening and should

dismantleall of theworkswithin12hours after the closingof theexhibition.

Pedestals should be cleaned, walls should be mended, all the facilities and

spaceshouldbecleanedandrestoredtotheiroriginalstate.

• Bothpartieswilltake50%fromanysalesduringtheexhibition.

• Anything on display during the exhibition must be sold through the gallery

unlessundermutuallyagreeduponcircumstances.

• Theamountofthesellingworkcanbepaidincashortransferredtothebank

account inonemonthafter theexhibition.Thecharge feeor relatedcostare

paidbytheartist(s)iftheychoosetotransfertheamount.

Thegalleryandtheartistwillfurthernegotiateforallothertermsnotwritteninthis

contract.
