A Musical Comedy for all ages. Based on the ―Peanuts‖ comic strip
by Charles M. Schultz. Book, Music and Lyrics by Clark Gesner.

How to Paint Your Dragon Ages 10-14. Monday, April 11, 5:30 – 7:00 PM
Instructor: Suzanne Miller
Cost: $11 for MTG members, $14 for non-MTG members
From Chinese to European, dragons come in all shapes and sizes!
We will paint your favorite kind using acrylic on paper. Learn
techniques in drawing with a brush, blending paint and using fun
metallics to make scales.
From Page to Stage Ages 10 -14, Saturday April 9, 9 AM- noon
Instructor: David Bristow
Cost: $18 for MTG members , $21 for non- members
Students will read classic stories then adapt them for the stage by
acting out what they have read. Characters will be developed
through voice, movement and actions. Costume pieces and hand
props will be introduced to aid in the storytelling.
Reader’s Theatre Adventure! Saturday, April 16. Two age groups.
Ages 7-9, 9am – Noon And Ages 10-14, 1- 4 PM
Instructors: Matt Finkenbinder & Lisa Moon
Cost: $18 for MTG members, $21 for non- members
Class will begin with a variety of exciting acting games promoting
creative thinking and expression. Students will then explore a wide
genre of characters from classic children’s literature. Parts will be
read from a "script", with characters divided among the readers. No
memorization! The focus will be on reading with expressive voices
and gestures, making comprehension of the text
meaningful and fun! Class will end with a 30
minute performance for family & friends.
Masterpiece in an Evening Adult Class (Ages 15 and up)
Monday, April 25, 6:30 – 9:00 PM
Instructor: Suzanne Miller
Cost: $17 for MTG members, $20 for non-MTG members
Use found objects of papers, plastics, wallpaper, silk flowers
and old jewelry to create an assembled art collage. Pieces will
be painted with metallic acrylics.
Scenes from a Hat Ages 8-12, Saturday April 30, 10 AM- noon
Instructor: David Bristow
Cost: $12 for MTG members , $14 for non- members
Using MTG’s wide selection of costume hats and pieces, students
will create their own characters and work in a variety of small
groups to create scenes using those invented characters. A creative
way to imagine and have fun!
Sock Puppet Theatre - MotherGoose Mash-up Ages 5-7, Saturday, April 30, 9 -11 AM
Instructor: Suzanne Miller
Cost: $14 for MTG Members, $16 for Non-Members
Using a mash-up of Mother Goose nursery rhymes, students
will create sock puppet characters and use them to act out the
mixed –up tale. The finished performance will be videotaped
and posted on YouTube. Students first names only will used in
the credits on the video. No faces will be seen.
Masterpiece in a Morning Adult Class (Ages 15 and up)
Saturday, May 14, 9:00 AM - Noon
Instructor: Suzanne Miller
Cost: $20 for MTG members, $23 for non-MTG members
Learn painting techniques of using acrylic on paper to create
a beautiful pop-out painting of dragonflies, cattails, and pond
life. At the end of 3 hours, you will go home with a finished
piece of art.
Learning to Draw – Cartoons Ages 5-7
Tuesday, May 17, 3:30 – 4:30 PM
Instructor: Suzanne Miller
Cost: $6 for MTG members, $7 for non-MTG members
A fun beginning drawing class for junior artists. This is a
structured drawing lesson on using simple shapes to create
cartoon people and animals.
