AUGUST NEWSLETTER
New Palm Lake Care Mt Warren Park - Artist Impression

Dear All,
By now you will have, hopefully become accustomed to the
sirens, blasting and machinery at the construction site of
the New Palm Lake Care facility next door, they are certain-
ly making changes to the landscape. Gerry Raymond V38
has nominated to liaise between Stuart Saw the Project
Manager of the site with any concerns that residents have
during the excavation stage. You can also call the office on
9081.
The pool and spa have had a rough time this winter and all
should be back up and running with new pumps, safety
switch for spa and heating regulated as soon as possible.
I trust that you enjoyed the fine talent at the concert last
Saturday night…..the MC was fabulous lol.
Stay warm and be well, Best wishes Shirley and Paul.

If My Body Was a Car - Effects of Retirement
If my body was a car, this is the time I would be thinking
about trading it in for a newer model. I've got bumps and
dents and scratches in my finish and my paint job is getting a
little dull ... But that's not the worst of it.......
My headlights are out of focus and it's especially hard to see
things up close.......
My traction is not as graceful as it once was. I slip and slide
and skid and bump into things even in the best of weather......
My whitewalls are stained with varicose veins.....
It takes me hours to reach my maximum speed.
My fuel rate burns inefficiently......
But here's the worst of it:
Almost every time I sneeze, cough o r sputter: either my ra-
diator leaks or my exhaust backfires
